WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT TO THE HATERS THAT THE MCCANNS 'DONE IT'

Serious question - more than four years down the line, the McCanns have had their pleas answered and Scotland Yard are finally looking into their case.

This has put the wind up Team Gonc big-time - but why? Why don't they want to hear the truth? That there is not one bit of evidence to suggest that Madeleine McCann was not alive when she was taken from 5A on the evening of May 3rd, 2007.

There is not one bit of evidence to suggest she is not still alive. Now, no-one pretends that the figures for survivors of abduction are good - but neither are they complete and totally black.

Children are found many, many years later, and God willing, Madeleine McCann will be one of them.

So what on earth do the haters and pitchforkers get out of pronouncing Madeleine dead?

What are those ghouls on Bennett's home site get out of their foul discussion about whether children on a normal holiday are clones? Or misformed? On the other hand - don't ask.

One of them boasted about using 'Mein Kampf' for reference, so what else do you need to know?

My feeling is that they have invested so much in the McCanns being guilty of vatious crimes that they simply cannot contemplate their being innocent. This is why everything has to point to their guilt. And their incredulity that the files do not appear to support this thesis - hence that there MUST be "secret files" containing the true evidence.

And Amaral having an ace up his sleeve.

It also shows in the requirement to have apparently strong "heros" and a heirachy - Amaral, Bennett, Morais, Levy, Reis etc. Wo can do no wrong in their eyes, even when caught out.

There are very strong parallels with the "guilters" in the knox case. Even the declaration is innocence by the court has not stopped them - perhaps shades of things to come in teh McCann case. Even were Madeleine to be found alive and well tomorrow, it would not stop them.

Very well said, sans. I would also imagine that the people around the haters may be tired of hearing about matters McCann and their 'guilt' as the main topic of conversation in their homes. Therefore, the haters have to be right to save face.

Yes indeed, but it doesn't explain what motivates this in the first place. Sheesh, some poor abducted child is hardly out of the door before they are baying for blood.

And I refuse to believe that the parents are always responsible, not even if they eventually turn out to be. That is not my place to decide.

There is something inherently sick and ill about people who always know, long before there is any evidence of such.

In respect of the McCcanns, particularly, I think there is a huge element of jealousy-inspired enmity from the fact that they are successful, wealthy, prosperous, middle-class, have attracted sympathy and active support from well placed and prominent people.

None of them have been fortunate in Madeleine going missing, but thank goodness for the support from the prominent people. Imagine having to do this alone?
