As a serving PJ officer, supposedly running the Portuguese end of the investigation - he is the one who has been handling any possible new evidence about Madeleine's whereabouts, for crying out loud -Paiva should never, ever have been messing about on FB, with some of the worst forkers going, to begin with.

If he hadn't been FB friends with these people, then he wouldn't be in this situation.

I have no sympathy for him, whatever has happened.

His wife and family, who he has betrayed and humiliated, are a different matter.

After viewing Paiva's mess and knowing about Gonc; along with reading last week about the guy arrested for a crime he was acquitted of 18 years ago in Portugal. I wouldn't trust the PJ as far as I could spit!

Absolutely, Pedro. Paiva should have known that this was just a reflection of Kate's worst fears, of daily being panic stricken about what might have happened to her daughter. He must have a very low opinion of human nature in general, which is a bit rich coming from him, in the light of what we now know.
But this is what they all do. They assume that everyone will behave as badly as they would.

He simply shouldn't have been hanging around FB with these forkers to begin with, HB, he was an accident waiting to happen.

He's the one who was supposed to be processing any new information that came in - and he was bessie mates with the likes of Morais, HideHo and assorted other leading forkers.

I shudder to think what he was saying to them.

And the forkers need not delude themselves that the McCanns had anything to do with this - they have more important things to do with their time than play games on FB.

The investigation is going to lead straight back to the forkers, and it serves all of them right.

If his computer and his mobile were hacked, then the culprit was known within 60 seconds and has been apprehended.
However, I note it has gone from it being his Facebook account being hacked to, his computer and mobile. For his mobile to be hacked, the hacker needs the number and more, to accomplish such an act.

Now, why do I think Morais' version of events is a load of bollocks? So far, she has blamed
