Richard Bacon: My battle with the trolls

It's very telling that many of them pretend to have 'respectable', middle-class professions - look at how many of them pretend to be 'lecturers', etc., when it is glaringly obvious that they are barely literate.

They also like to claim that they have lots of friends in the police force - all of whom just happen to agree with them, naturally.

All part of their strange, dark, make-believe world, of course - the only place any of this happens is in their heads.

Indeed, Bonny. Very strange. All of The Police and Professional people I know are open minded about this Case. And all of them believe in Innocent Until Proven Guilty.

And heaven help anyone that Peter Mac had to deal with.

Personally, I have never seen the point of pretending to be something that I am not simply because I would know that it wasn't true.

But all of these Professional people do seem to have a huge amount of time on their hands. A bit like Bennett who should still be earning an honest living. One can only wonder why he isn't.
