Phone Hacking: Brooks Charge Decision Due

Former News International chief executive Rebekah Brooks and six others will find out tomorrow if they are to be charged with perverting the course of justice during the phone-hacking scandal.
The group - understood to include Mrs Brooks' racehorse trainer husband Charlie and the company's head of security Mark Hanna - will learn the police outcome after answering bail.

The ex-newspaper editor's former PA, Cheryl Carter, a News International chauffeur and two security consultants are also expected to be included in an announcement by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).

Ah, of course! Speaking personally, I have forgotten who is supposed to have done what to who. I was only really interested in the 'human' stuff, about Milly Dowler, the McCanns, and families of servicemen who had lost their lives.

I just take it for granted that politicians do members of the media favours, and vice versa. Wrong it may be, but it is the way of the world.

No, it was when ordinary people were affected that I was interested....if that makes sense?

According to the Sky Breaking news thingy, she and her husband are being charged with Perverting the course of Justice.

Which I predict will take years to get to court, cost the taxpayer a fortune, and have the same outcome as the Rednapp tax evasion trial.

Ex-director of 'The Sun' and husband will be charged with obstruction of justice
Rebekah Brooks, former chief executive of News International (NI), and her husband, Charlie Brooks, will be charged with obstruction of justice in relation to the wiretapping scandal, announced on Tuesday the British prosecutor.
Rebekah and Charlie Brooks, a friend of Prime Minister David Cameron, were arrested in March due to the British weekly newspaper spying News of the World, which was directed by Rebekah, but were released later.
The journalist was the 'right hand' of Rupert Murdoch in the UK until he resigned in July 2011 chief executive of the NI branch of the British media group News Corporation, due to illegal wiretaps made for years by the News of the World pictures public and private citizens.
These are the first charges filed since police reopened the case of eavesdropping in early 2011, for which the journalist, who once also directed 'The Sun', can end up in prison.
