I am none too sure why Bennett is promoting this, as it is very close to what many think did happen; it shows perfectly just how quickly a car could be a long way away from 5a.

It's worth bearing in mind that at least one witness saw a vehicle parked near the apartment at the relevant time, and that the Portuguese dogs did follow Madeleine's scent to the car park.

Anyone watching that will see for themselves just how easy it would have been. It would have taken seconds for an abductor to go in the front door and pass the child out to someone waiting outside; no doubt Scotland Yard are well aware of that, too.

He's mad, he must be, to draw attention to that video. It illustrates perfectly just how far an abductor/s could travel with ease in a short space of time.

The pain he has caused the McCanns will be re-visited on him sooner or later.

I think they have all gone raving mad, Sabot. Why on earth did Bennett draw attention to that video? It demonstrated nicely how much territory can be covered in very little time.

As own goals go, it's almost as good as CSI: Hounders showing the entire world how that shutters of 5a lift easily.

The nasties are all acting most peculiarly this morning; maybe their leaders have finally caught up with the gossip from Portugal?

I can think of a fair few of them who invaded Praia de Luz to prove a point. All any of them have managed is to prove how easy an abduction would have been.

God knows what has come over them but they seem to think that reasonable explanations are somehow laughable, like, "Ha ha ha, fancy the abductor opening the window as an escape route" and, "What a joke, why would he park a car down the road", as if he would have parked it right outside for everyone passing to see.

Bennett seems to be on a crusade to prove that anything at all possible, pointing to an abduction, must be stupid because it isn't what he would have done.
