Today is World Children's Day, which was the genesis of post-war, a world plagued, in social and humanitarian who wanted to defend the children of destruction. And one of the proofs of the Universal Declaration remains unfulfilled, more than 50 years after being created.Today marks the International Children's Day and it is time to reflect on the rights of children, who continue to starve, even in developed countries. UNICEF revealed that 30 million children in extreme difficulty, in the developed countries.And so the World Children's Day should be celebrated, even though the repeated celebrations of June 1 have not yet led to the fulfillment of all the principles of the Universal Declaration.The World Children's Day is officially on November 20, the date that the UN recognizes as Universal Children's Day, in celebration of the adoption of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child. However, the effective date of celebration established in almost all the world is June 1 since May honors Mary, the mother of Jesus.In this June 1, 1945, during World War II, the Allies bombed Osaka, Japan's second city, devastated by 6110 tons of explosives laid by B-29 bombers, the same year in which the same city had been destroyed by similar attack three months earlier.And it was precisely this global conflict that led to the celebration of World Children's Day.
