Wedding dress from Amy Winehouse was stolen
The wedding dress that Amy Winehouse wore at her wedding in 2006, with Blake Fielder-Civil, was stolen from his home in London. The missing part was found by the family that made an inventory of the objects of the singer, who died on 23 July 2011.
Besides the dress, the family has also detected the disappearance of other objects of the closet of the singer, who died at age 27, after having ingested an excessive amount of alcohol. Besides the wedding dress, disappeared also a garment worn during the musical program 'Later With Jools Holland', BBC.
The family had these objects to fund the foundation with the name of the singer, which aims to help young musicians with problems of drug and alcohol addictions. The two pieces should be worth together more than 162 thousand euros.
A foundation spokeswoman Amy Winehouse revealed no signs of forced entry were found in the house and admitted that the objects may have disappeared shortly after the death of British singer.
"Someone tries to sell the dresses for her own benefit. We must warn that these should not be on the market and no one should buy, "said the same source.
So far, Scotland Yard has not received any formal complaint from the family of Amy Winehouse.
