The brigade of Scotland Yard who is responsible for the investigation into the disappearance of British Madeleine McCann is on the premises of the Judicial Police of the Port to "take stock of the situation 'case - knew the SOL.

The British police today arrived to Porto and are currently meeting with fellow Judiciary Police (PJ). Reopening and review of the investigation into the case 'Maddie' - missing for nearly six years - was started ten months ago, having the direction of the National Judicial tasked a special team led by Helena Monteiro, coordinator of criminal investigation over PJ. British authorities expect any new data to be collected by the special team of PJ Port allow the process to be formally reopened by the Ministry Public. After an initial investigation led by Gonçalo Amaral, the case now, still in PJ of Portimão, to Paulo Rebelo, the current director of the PJ Lisbon, but without any practical results. Madeleine McCann disappeared on the night of 9 May 2007 from an apartment in a tourist resort of Praia da Luz, in the Algarve, never having been found so far. At the time, Maddie McCann was complete nine days of age of four.

Hopefully, it will be reopened - but that will be because NEW EVIDENCE has been found. Their obsession with reconstructions is just....pathetic.

Surely they know that Scotland Yard have perfectly adequate software to conduct a virtual reconstruction? And know that there was time for Madeleine to be abducted?

And in any case, there is only one reconstruction that could actually have helped find Madeleine McCann. That was the one scheduled for a few days after she was abducted, which Gonc cancelled because it would have meant closing air space, according to the fat defective.

That is stunning, though. She's told an outright lie - and the cult are swallowing it:

Hasn't it sunk in yet? If and when the case is reopened, the Yard and PJ will be looking for the scum that abducted Madeleine, and hopefully will find her alive.

Note: In a story run by the daily newspaper Diário de Notícias, basically reporting on the above SOL article, the journalist alleges that an unnamed judiciary source said the meeting between the Judiciary Police in Porto and the Scotland Yard Officers is a "routine meeting". That does not in any way invalidate the strong possibility of a formal re-opening of the process by the Attorney General's Office.

The frantic spin of Joana Morais was laid bare tonight. When challenged about her claim that this meeting between the PJ and SY in Porto was about a re-opening, she refused to accept that it was a routine meeting.

Unfortunately for her I had the proof to hand and duly posted it. She had no comeback and almost immediately did a runner from Twitter.

As you can see in the before and after posts she was forced to admit that I was in fact right.

Just before running from Twitter she did two other things. She tried to suggest the end of her quoted article was stating that there would be a reconstruction and re-opening. And she has kept to that argument in her little rant attached to her apology on the second post. But again she is completely misrepresenting the situation. The re-opening is no more imminent than it was at the beginning of the review. All the article says is that is the aim behind the SY review. We've known that since it started though.

Her attempt to make some big anti McCann spin from this has failed miserably.

But thats not the only good thing to happen tonight.

She was asked to confirm the outrageous myth that any possible re-opening would automatically lead to the re-arguidoing of the McCanns (and presumably Murat too) but she could not do that. I got in first and posted that was not the case and that it would entirely depend on the evidence which brought about a re-opening. If that evidence pointed to some as yet unknown culprit then why would the McCanns become suspects?

And YES she finally put that vile myth to bed but agreeing with me. They will NOT automatically be arguidos. How many years has she been unwilling to dispel that rampant myth? How many times could she have made it clear to the fools who have been parroting it? Why did she never do that?

Why only now is she (when forced to do so) admitting some truths which are not very palatable for the anti McCanns?

And as for the re-construction, the same argument holds. It may be necessary, it may be not. It would depend on the circumstances of a re-opening and what new evidence had come to light. Her spinning days are numbered.

If the case is reopened the McCanns will once again be suspects (not persons of interest as they would like us to believe), this time they will not be able to flee.

How stupid can you get? What has to happen for these whackjobs to grasp that the McCanns, like Robert Murat, shouldn't have been 'suspects' the first time around.

And for the millionth time, no, no-one is automatically re-arguido-ed. Even Morais had to admit that, in the course of her disastrous attempt at myth-making last night.

If and when the case is reopened, it will be because of NEW EVIDENCE. Got that? NEW EVIDENCE. Not smoking guns, Aces, or any of the other garbage so beloved of the Gonc Cult.

BTW, doesn't it bother the hounders that a SUSPECT, in their own words, was in charge of the investigation at the start? No wonder Gonc made such a mess!

In fact, unless evidence pointing to a particular suspect is found, then the case will not need to be reopened. Scotland Yard are already following up leads, and no doubt The PJ are as well, but at this stage they will only be looking. If between them their leads point in a fairly certain direction, then will be the time to Reopen the case so someone can be brought in for questioning and their property searched.
And it won't be The McCanns. Nothing has been found to implicate them in nearly six years, so it ain't going to happen now.
