That means that the value of their claim has leapt by £15,240 since Friday.

Without them having to do anything at all!

That's what I thought. Regardless of what the Euro stands at,the claim is still 1.2 million Euros .

It was The Nasties who turned it into Pounds way back, and at a time when The Euro was riding high. Now that The Euro isn't riding quite so high [thank God] it can only be of advantage to The McCanns.

You have to move the decimal point. Otherwise it's only £100,000 ish.

Unlike Bennett, you have to move the decimal point twice. If there really were €84 to the pound, the McCanns would then only be claiming about £12,000 from Gonc......

Sabot, it's such a stunningly HUGE mistake it almost blinds you. It took me a while to grasp it - I knew something was wrong, but kept thinking, No, it can't be, surely not even Bennett could get euros/sterling the wrong way round AND wrong by a factor of 100? Several times?

But oh yes, that's exactly what he's done.

Yes, LL, all four forumotion sites in this part of the internet were down. They were dusting the servers, or whatever it is they do - one conspiraloon thought it was because the McCanns had been arrested, or something.

As soon as I couldn't get on here I checked MM, saw they were offliner so went and made some tea and when I came back we were up again. LL

As we have noticed, Bennett's been making a great song and dance about what he IMAGINES are the McCanns' legal costs. As usual, he was talking mince - and demonstrating that his ability to count ranks with his ability to grasp the law = EPIC FAIL.
