Father of Judge has VIP treatment in jail of Coimbra

Entered an overcrowded jail, but soon had the right to be left alone in a cell. The prison guards' union criticizes the "VIP treatment" given to the murderer of Mamarrosa and fears the revolt of prisoners.

In the jail of Aveiro, António Ferreira da Silva, 65, shot to kill the ex-son-in-law (lawyer Claudio Rio Mendes, 35), in 2011, in Mamarrosa (Oliveira do Bairro), while holding his granddaughter in his arms , was already the subject of controversy for being the only one among more than 120 inmates to receive visitors daily.
