No matter how good Scotland Yard are, and I do believe that they have found something, they are not going to be able to keep this up indefinitely. A time might come when The McCanns will have to take over again.

An expert witness has told jurors in the trial of Mark Bridger that bone fragments taken from his fireplace were from a human skull.

Dr Julie Roberts told the court that five pieces of bone were found in the hearth of former fireman Bridger's home, Mount Pleasant.

She said the samples were analysed under a high-power microscope and that marks on one of them match those commonly found on the skull of a child around the age of six

I am sure we are all looking forward to it, Lily. It will be interesting to see how many of them simply vanish, and how many of them turn on their current leaders, blaming them for feeding them lies all this time.

Of course, whatever happens, the hard core are bound to find a way of blaming the McCanns anyway, or insisting that it's all part of an even bigger cover-up - they have too much emotional investment in their hatred to do otherwise.

Sadly, most of them don't realise that most of it was lies. And they are abysmally ignorant of the actual facts, largely because they haven't read The Files, and none of the real facts are ever discussed. So I think they will opt for a cover up. And of course, this will keep them going.

Yes, I've noticed the forkers on Justice disrupting threads every single time something they don't like is being discussed.

According to Luz the attempted abduction of a little girl on The Algarve in December 2006 was a hoax.
All I can say about that is thank God her parents managed to snatch her back from the abductor before he disappeared with the child. Otherwise they could have had serious contact with some Police Station Stairs.

Pardon me if I don't give a flying one about the opinion of someone who not only fantasised about setting Kate McCann on fire at a book-signing, but previously gloated about vandalising posters of Madeleine McCann in Portugal.

But it's insane, Bonny. It happened. Someone, I can't remember who but could be Luz, has said that her parents used the Madeleine abduction for publicity. In December 2006? Or later? So they must have made it up. Why would anyone do that? The whole village knew about it.

I really don't know why the likes of Luz bother, Sabot - she can't turn her lies into truth.

I shudder to think what the 8rs are going to be like when it finally sinks in to whatever passes for 'brains' with them that the McCanns are NOT suspects, and that SY/PJ have their sights on the PDL area, not Rothley.
