Mirror "police" in a nightclub in Glasgow

A nightclub in Glasgow, Scotland, allows customers to watch the female customers, through a mirror in the bathroom of women, which is similar to that of police interrogation rooms.

The mirror of "two-way" only allows the display to the inside of the female toilets, running as a normal mirror for women who are in the bathroom. The "other side" of the mirror gives to a room where they hold private parties in exchange for 800 pounds (about 940 euros).

Some customers of the nightclub The Shimmy Club, outraged by the situation and feel spied, complained to the authorities, who are now investigating the case.

The discothéque of Glasgow argues that always released another mirror, perfectly normal, in the bathroom, and ensure that there are signs to warn of the presence of the two-way mirror, that these signs are even more visible today in the wake of the impact the case has had on the British media.

The space nightlife argues that the idea of this mirror is just a "joke" and should be viewed as such. Most of the customers thus does guarantees.

However, a member of the Scottish parliament told the newspaper "The Telepraph" who has written to the organs responsible for the legality and licenses that object in the disco. "Many of us consider 'voyeurism', particularly in bathrooms, as something disturbing (...) Women using the toilet should not have to concern the idea of doing or not part of a show peeps" said.

The "voyeurism" is the practice that allows an individual to get pleasure from watching others.
