Why don't Amaral supporters want Madeleine McCann to be found?

Let's not forget that the Yard are going to be rightly wary of the PJ, after so much confidential information Amoral was trusted with blew off his desk straight into the arms of waiting CdM employees.

Amoral committed some shocking breaches of trust in the course of fouling up the first investigation; I can see him facing charges over his incompetence and unprofessional conduct.

The Portuguese authorities won't hesitate to throw him under the bus if it means this apparent impasse can be broken, though I am none too sure it really is an impasse.

It may just be sh*t-stirring by the remnants of Team Gonc.

They are not going to go down without a big fuss. They have so much to lose.........

I did spot: 2.20 when he says did the McCanns are being kept fully informed, he is shaking his head and 4.19 when he says they are not suspects, he is nodding.

     

But still remains hopeful.

. So either its a total clean up operation by our government for some unknown reason, or SY know something we do not and the McCann really do have nothing to do with the disappearance!.

What? An experienced team of detectives, with ALL the files, the Holmes computer, etc., know something more than a shower of armchair defectives waving pitchforks?

They really had better get it into their thick skulls that the McCanns ARE innocent, that they themselves are nothing but a rabble who have been taking pleasure in tormenting the family of a missing child.

Still hasn't worked it out, has she? That shower of foul-mouthed, sex-obsessed freaks singing the praises of Amaral as they daily abuse anyone who crosses their path is the worst possible PR for Gonc.

They've abused and harrassed three journos in the space of 48 hours - that's three more people in the mainstream media who now associate Amaral with that deranged rabble.

How fascinating! Redsquare Nigel Moore writes a propaganda piece for some obscure news site - and he sounds EXACTLY like 'Dr' Martin Roberts!

Now she's getting in a lather about the spy satellites story....do these gullible idiots believe everything they read in the papers?  

There is always a possibility that something was picked up by a satellite.

I just don't like 'satellite' stories, Sabot, because Levy the fraudster churned out so many of them.

I know, Bonny. But it isn't impossible. The only problem is that Levy wanted everyone to believe that Gerry was spotted disposing of Madeleine, although God knows why.
But a boat off shore could have been seen without any actual proof that it was used in an abduction. The images are often not that precise.
I have always believed that Madeleine was taken off shore. And it really isn't that difficult for an ocean going boat to disappear.

Sabot, at that time, I cannot fathom why the US would have one of their satellites trained on the PdL area, unless they had something that interested them relating to their defense.  

I believe technology might have moved on since then though.

Just imagine that they did have something, can you imagine, after intense background checks, that they would let Gonc have anything?  He would have to sign heavy duty secrecy documents before the US would let them anywhere near him.   I think that would be a no go.......however the US might let their own Ambassador know something.

Lily, if the satellite saw anything it will have been peripheral, and just in passing as it sailed by on the way to somewhere else.

But it might have seen a boat off shore, or even a small boat putting off from the beach.
Do we even know at what time this satellite actually passed over?

But I very much doubt that it will have seen anyone galloping down through the back roads to the beach.

There are possibilities here, but only possibilities, which might support possibilities.

I fully realize that, Sabot. Anything is possible and no, we don't know what time it passed over or anything about it, come to that.

If it were happening today, they would be able to pick out what the person was wearing in great detail.

In May 2007, that would have been for the US DoD and their Ambassador to Portugal to discuss. They would have bypassed Amaral but the Portuguese official would have given him any information necessary to the task of finding the poor child?

I do believe that if the US had any pertinent information, someone would have been told something.

...And this is why I don't like 'satellite' stories. IMO, a safe way would have been found of passing information without letting Amaral know about it.

Time will, as ever, tell.

What? That has to win some kind of prize for DUMB. Have the Amaral supporters somehow forgotten that Madeleine's parents have moved Heaven and earth to make sure Madeleine DOESN'T disappear from public attention? That it's down to the McCanns' efforts that Scotland Yard is now re-investigating her disappearance?

Amazing the way McCann-haters manage to wipe these things from their 'minds'.
