Morais' Maddie Case Files Gone?

I hadn't had the need to check anything for a week or two, so hadn't noticed, till I saw this post by Bennett:

This notice has appeared today when you click on 'Maddie Case Files':

NOTICE: This domain name expired on 08/20/2013 and is pending renewal or deletion.

The forum was set up in September 2009 in the wake of the collapse of 'the 3 Arguidos'

If Morais' flagship site has gone, then the Amaral supporters may as well fold their tents and go; the hate campaign is a very lost cause indeed.

They're working at it, Tony. - sez Chateleine, who is chummy with the Generalissima.

Might be a teensy problem, as Morais has been AWOL for some time, and those intimes who know why aren't saying.

Which is why so many rumours about her being Up the greasy Limpopo/in jail/having Levy's love child/eaten by Amazonian head-hunters are flying around.

Assuming she has Founder status, they are going to have to find her to get her to pay the bill, unless one of them can try a bit of shady dealing and buy it?

I do hope it comes back. Those dodgy translations, JCL's ancient, yellowing, discredited press cuttings, so lovingly hoarded, lost to the world for ever! The horror!

Glad they're aware of it. I was going to post the same this morning, but didn't know where on here to post it.

If you don't renew a domain name, the worst case scenario is that somebody else buys it and uses it for their own purposes

I think there's a period of grace before that can happen, though, so fingers crossed ......

I cannot imagine that they would sell the domain within a day from the deadline ...
Anyway, I'm in touch with them and they're on top of it at the moment.

Nothing like kidding themselves, is there? GoDaddy's got a FOR SALE sign on it already, so they'd better find Morais ASAP.

GoDaddy exists to make money, not pander to pitchforkers.

As far as I can make out, only Morais can sort this out, as she is listed in Whois as the owner:

It's only a matter of time before the rumours and whispers about Amoral's whimpering defeat are made official, at which point mcf, like the rest of them, will be surplus to requirements.

Doubtless frantic efforts are underway to get Morais to pay the bill before it's too late, but she'll know as well as anyone that it's pointless.

I'm guessing that Morais knows that it is now a lost cause for Gonc. This would be the best way of bowing out?

Maybe the last GASP fund could help out?

Wonder who coughed up the money? Chatelaine was in conversation with them, I believe?

Or maybe, Bennett had the Fund fund it. We should be told who gave the money...........
