A thief known as the ‘Albufeira Loner (Solitário)’ who preyed on women tourists was arrested by police last week. The PJ criminal police said the man, aged 30, would approach women leaving local nightclubs, threaten them with a gun and force them to hand over their money or mobile phones. The authorities confiscated four mobiles phones, a firearm and several master keys which allowed him to open doors at tourist establishments. The man was due to appear in court.

I have never, ever been able to understand why Amoral was adamant that there were no spare keys to 5A; at least four official copies are in the police files, never mind unauthorised copies, master keys, etc.
