British detectives investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann are releasing a new picture of a possible suspect.

The then four-year-old vanished from her family's holiday apartment in Praia da Luz in the Algarve on May 3, 2007, as her parents dined at a nearby restaurant with friends.

Police want to question a man, who according to new witnesses, was seen somewhere around the apartment at the relevant time.

Sky's Crime Correspondent Martin Brunt said: "In the next couple of days Scotland Yard are going to put out an artist's impression - an e-fit - of this man, who is clearly being regarded as a suspect - although Scotland Yard tell me that until they identify him and question him, they really don't know where he fits into this jigsaw that they are increasingly putting together.

"On Monday, they are going to be talking more fully about this man

"They will give some idea of what witnesses have said about his behaviour, but he fits into the picture."

Madeleine's parents have said they remain "optimistic" of finding their daughter and will not accept she is dead until they are presented with clear evidence.

Her disappearance is to be the subject of a Crimewatch appeal on Monday to try to produce new witnesses in the case.

The British police already have a picture as possible raptor robot Maddie McCann. The authorities managed to get the image with the help of new witnesses who saw the man hanging around the apartment in Praia da Luz, Algarve, from where the girl disappeared on May 3, 2007.
"In a few days 'Scotland Yard' [headquarters of the London Metropolitan Police] will release a portrait of this man who is clearly identified as suspicious, but first want to identify him and ask him," said the journalist Martin Brunt, correspondent 'Sky News'.

The British police will release the portrait robot of a man who may have been involved in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, the May 3, 2007, in the Algarve.

According to Sky News, Scotland Yard is completing the picture of the suspect and will release it in the coming days in the hope that this man is identified and can answer questions from investigators.

The physical appearance of the suspect was described by witnesses who saw him near the apartment in Praia da Luz at the time of the disappearance.

British police robot will reveal a picture of a suspect in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. The authorities want to question a man who has been seen in the vicinity of the apartment in Praia da Luz, six years ago, with new witnesses.


The dissemination of the image of the suspect should happen by the end of this week. For next Monday is expected that the British police reveal more details about the suspect.

According to the London press, will be posted several pictures, hoping that there is someone who has seen the man.
