118 calls after Madeleine appeal
Detectives investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann have said they have received over 118 calls after they released an e-fit of a man who witnesses claim was carrying a blonde child in the Praia da Luz area on the night she went missing.

Hopefully, now people know Jane's 'sighting' was irrelevant, information they may have dismissed in the past now becomes relevant.

I have watched back over the programme and one thing came to me.

I was just thinking this programme is going to wind haters up for ages to come as they will learn absolutely nothing after the CW update about what is going on in the inquiry and they have this notion that they have some right to information which they do not have.

It is up to the Police to decide what they learn and that's it. If they don't understand that, then TOUGH.

If she hasn't done so already, I suggest that Tanner flip-flops down the cop shop toot sweet with whatever mitigating circumstances she can muster.
Because otherwise the legal consequences for her and her family could be very serious indeed.

That is beyond tragic both for Madeleine and her family.

Elsewhere on the internet, I have read posts where people are gutted at what has gone on, as far as they are concerned. Obviously their hopes were dashed.

WTF is that twittertw@t on about? It was demonstrated very clearly, to millions of people, that Jane had been telling the truth all along.

It wasn't up to her to find out exactly who she'd seen, it was the duty of that oxygen thief Amaral. Who didn't bother his backside, but chose to spin ridiculous conspiraloon 'hypotheses' instead of carrying out the most basic police work.

I can't begin to imagine how the Yard felt when they discovered what a complete, utter, ball's up Amaral had made of it. Sane people reading about this have nothing but bottomless contempt for Gonzo, for not sorting this out within the first day or so.

Amaral, the hatebloggers and pitchforkers all owe Jane Tanner a HUGE apology for the abuse she has suffered from them, when she was telling the truth all along.

I doubt if said apology will be forthcoming from the bottomfeeders and abductor-protectors, though, just more frantic spinning as they try to explain away this dereliction of duty by their beloved Amoral.
