Bizarre statements from Gonc witnesses courtesy of Mail

Looks like Gonzo's for the high jump. Going on TV, making up total sh*t and telling outright, demonstrable lies is never clever when you're the defendant in a libel trial.

Oh dear, what a shame. Never mind.

I have no intention of repeating Gonzo's fairly vile lies and libel; according to one of his groupies, he also made this grossly inaccurate, malicious and false statement:

when KM went and checked on the kids at approx 22:00 and discovered that Madeleine was gone she came out onto the balcony and started shouting "They've taken her"...on the reconstruction done on the CMTV who it was very clear that although none of the group at the TAPAS bar could see KM they all heard her shouts...


Kate McCann did no such thing. Hasn't Gonzo bothered to read the police files? Oh wait, he was in charge to begin with, wasn't he?

One might have expected him to remember that that was NOT what happened, but clearly, that's beyond the Great Co-Ordinator.

He really isn't helping himself, is he?

Exactly, Pedro, there is an official PJ record of what happened - as Gonc should know. There is NO excuse for changing that into Kate McCann shouting on the balcony, because that simply is NOT what happened.

As for his other invention - that's liable to cost him dearly. And I'm not putting it in public as it is outright lies and libel.

He's a pathological liar, Bonny, or he has had blackouts caused by his alcohol abuse. Either way, he's a spent force.  

Didn't The Nasties make a right meal of the fact that Kate didn't shout from the balcony? Abandoning the twins to even more danger by running to The Tapas Bar?

What does Amaral think he is doing? Was he actually Coordinating? Or was he rat arsed most of the time?

amaral is a compulsive liar:

This is the way of the world, Pedro. Karma only means that vile, self serving liars destroy themselves. If Amaral had stopped with his book, or even if he hadn't continued to delay the libel trial, he might even have gotten away with it. But always these people go too far.

He shouldn't have written the nasty thing in the first place, Sabot - I cannot think of any other policeman, in Europe, the US or Canada - or anywhere - who has done such a vicious thing.

Yes, retired officers reminisce about their cases - but they don't accuse innocent people of heinous crimes as part of a vendetta fuelled by their own failure. And then go on to earn mega-euros in the media career they've carved out at the expense of a missing child.

It's disgusting and shameful - not to mention grossly unprofessional. Now he's inventing outright lies on CMTV - what does that say about him?

Claire Fryer I think when amaral goes bck to court he will pull those tricks out of his sleeve while they r in court and it will hopefully give sy enough to question them all again but this time about murder.at the moment they would only be able to charge them with neglect as there is not enough evidence to take them to court for murder.IMO this is what they r waiting for.

So, Gonzo's been withholding crucial evidence for six years, has he? And he's chosen to go bankrupt, divorced, etc., rather than play those 'tricks'?

If so, I hope he gets a long jail term.

But there's no danger of that, is there? Because if he had known anything whatsoever, he wouldn't have been reduced to lying his head off on CMTV this weekend.

Of course he shouldn't have written it, Bonny. But you can't imbue morals into someone who doesn't have the capacity. This is why they go too far.

Amaral saw this Case as a money spinner from day one after he had seen Cristovao make a small killing on The Cipriano Affair. Guilt or innocence never came into it. Only salacious gossip and innuendo makes money. Finding Madeleine wouldn't have done that. And anyway, that would have been too much like hard work.
I am convinced that Amaral deliberately set about stitching up The McCanns.

I just think that seeing as GA is already being sued by the McScams (and so far it looks like it is going his way) he has now decided that he doesn't have anything else to lose and is going to go all-out to show the public exactly what these two are capable off! xx

According to GA there are only 3 FACTS that can be proven that night

1) the hour that the kids left the creche that afternoon;

2) the fact that the SMiths paid for their dinner at 21:27;

3) the phonecall made to the police at 22:47

Utter pish.  

Ivone Magalhaes Lorna Jane Mulligan the McScams first phoned their family and Sky News..in fact the ppl who actually did phone the Portuguese police at 22:47 were the employees of the Ocean Club

Do the likes of her think that telling huge LIES helps Gonc in any way?

It is a complete and outright LIE that Sky were phoned first - it is a proveable, demonstrable LIE.

So why is the Gonzo groupie doing it? Taking her lead from the convicted perjurer? His latest utterances demonstrate yet again that that perjury conviction was well-deserved, and there is no LIE Amoral won't tell, no-one Amoral won't smear, if he thinks it will save his sorry hide.

It has to be asked.

Reading the lies Ivone Magalhaes is currently telling, and the baseless smears and malicious falsehoods she is spreading, is she being paid by Team Gonc?

And still no sign of the CMTV epic on Morais. Too embarrassing, lie and libel-packed, is it?

Wonder if the court will sit in Lisbon today, or will Gonc's lawyer's budgie need to get its claws clipped or something similarly urgent?  

Gosh. Today, is it? And to think I missed the drama of all those exciting sleeps. Who will we hear of today who can't remember and doesn't know nothing?
