Local issues, like the unsightly glass rectangular bars promoted by the last administration as the answer to Lagos’ nightlife still stand empty on the main Avenida.

That was Gonzo's chums' doing, as I recall - build tacky, sleazy bars and leave the infrastructure (like Roman bridges) to fall apart.

I hope the ladies manage to clean things up.
