I am going crack a rib laughing if it turns out the 'documents' Gonzo's lawyer presented to the court are bollox from the hounders.

It might be to do with the documents about his earnings Gonzo has so far withheld? Who knows, no doubt all will be revealed in the fullness of time. And whatever it's about, you can guarantee that the Gonzo fan club gets it all wrong, as usual.

I know what amaral is trying to achieve with this cowardness:

the only explanatiion for this delay is: amaral is a coward, he is afraid, his only purpose with such delays is to force the case against him to prescribe.

He is afraid. He has everything to lose but it's the money that is hurting him the most.

So, he is trying to hold on to whatever he can because he might have to fade from view?

It's not just compensation to the McCanns that's at risk for Gonzo, though. When he finally loses (if he can ever be dragged into court) he can kiss goodbye to a soft seat on Dear Julia's sofa. No more error and libel-riddled 'specials' for CMTV.

He'll have been shown up for what he is, what he has been all along. Media doors will slam in his face...mind you, the respectable Portuguese media turned away from him years ago, he's only really welcomed by his cronies at TVI and CMTV.

That one million euros will be hard for him to recoup unless he can come up with some dynamite TV special on those stations you mention, Bonny. Or the Icke Channel sponsored by some heavyweights.

Harry Taylor It really puzzles me as to why the mainstream media is not talking about this libel case. Do the Ms really have that much power in the merky world of British Media?

Or, there is nothing of interest to the Great British Public for them to talk about? Do these clowns not realise, Gonzo has been stalling and using delaying tactics for YEARS? The media know all about it and are no doubt longing for the day when they can print all the dirt they have on GONZO.

His fan club are deluded if they think the media don't know all about Gonzo's threats to shoot ex-girlfriends on the Golden Bullets tape, and all the rest of the squalid scandals whirling around Big Rock.

Now that WILL be of interest to the readership. Gonzo doing the Chicken Dance yet again isn't.

Which is exactly why Gonzo is on trial. He made the whole thing up, as they would know if they read the police files. That isn't 'info', it's invention from a convicted perjurer and fraudster.

Over on Justice forum, Luz has declared that the Portuguese libel trial is not a libel trial.

In fact she stated this:

If you request to be compensated for a damage suffered you have to present unequivocal proof that such damages occurred. From the first sessions in Court I find it difficult to say the McCann have a case.

This is about compensation pure and simple. For what if they lost? What would they be compensating?

If the libel case has been heard and this is about compensation then that means the McCanns have won. So, that would mean that either the court decides on a sum which the defendant has to pay (an amount has already been set aside) or there are settlement negotiations going on.

everytime the coward amaral creates excuses it proves that he is a coward, he is scared of being in trial.

So, Gonzo has been emitting more hot air and lies on CMTV - what a surprise! Has he forgotten his own utterances about Justice Working In Silence?

Never mind, it'll keep his fan club happy - they don't care about concepts like 'truth' any more than the oaf does. Sadly for Gonzo and his fans, nothing they say or do can change reality.
