PJ investigates signs of corruption linked to drug network
The Judiciary Police (PJ) is investigating suspicions binding elements of the corporation with the 'drug barons'.

The Attorney General's Office confirmed on Thursday when tvi24.pt four inspectors of the PJ are being accused of the crime of torture. "It is confirmed that prosecutors filed a complaint under an investigation that was investigated in DIAP of Coimbra, "said the source PGR tvi24.pt . A chief inspector of the Regional Chamber for Research on Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs Board of the Central Criminal Police and three inspectors were accused of committing "a crime of torture and other treatments cruel, degrading or inhuman serious. " According to the PJ source, the charge results from the complaint of a suspected drug dealer at the Figueira da Foz place that claims to have taken eight batons of an inspector of the PJ to reveal where he had hidden the drug . The other three are accused by inspectors to concert in torturing the victim with the same purpose. How declined to disclose the place where he hid the drugs, the suspect of an integrated network of trafficking in soft and hard drugs was beaten with a bat a policeman with 'at least eight strokes back', in the grounds of his home. The suspect ended up screaming and some neighbors rushed to the spot. man was eventually taken to the PJ, in Coimbra, where he was questioned and released.
