So, why is Morais' 'court report' different from Guedes' report?

At the start of her 'court report' Morais states:

What follows is the recount of what happened yesterday at court, to the best of my knowledge and short handwritten notes

Shouldn't have put her name to a pack of lies, written to pander to McCann-haters and make them think Gonzo was doing well, when in fact, the day was a disaster for him.

This exchange took place between Kate and the judge, according to Morais:


Judge - In the thesis presented on the book it is claimed that you hid the body, do you think people thought that you were cowards?

Kate Healy - It was worst than that.

Judge - Do you suffer from insomnia?

Kate Healy - No, not as much as I did in 2008, 2009, because then the efforts that we did were boycotted by Mr. Amaral's book. We were desperate to find Madeleine. I felt that he destroyed our hypotheses.

Judge - Do the twins know about the book and about the documentary?

Kate Healy - They know about them but they don't know the details. They understand why we are here today.



'Efforts boycotted'? 'Hypothesis'? English people don't talk like that....

As is clear from Guedes' verbatim version:

Judge asks whether she suffered because the people thought that they were cowards for having hidden the body.
KMC, after a silence, says that people thought much worse than that.

Judge – Did that cause you insomnia?
KMC says that it happened obviously, but that she isn't no more as she was, destroyed. She says that she cried, that the book brought her pain and emotion while she was desperate to find Madeleine.

Judge – Do the twins know about the book, the documentary?
KMC answers that of course they use computers at school and at home and she has to be very careful and try to supervise the information they get.



Oh my, looks like Morais has invented all that sh*te about 'hypotheses'. She really shouldn't have, as that was the clue that she was, well, LYING yet again.

Native English speakers simply do not speak like that. Pompous citizen churnalists that support disgraced ex-cops do, however. Now, I don't have much time for Ms Guedes, but her version of events reads like normal English speech.

Morais' concoction doesn't. And doubtless that isn't all Morais has altered.

Morais needs to explain why she has INVENTED chunks of testimony, and altered and spun others to suit her own agenda. Because the bullsh*t on her blog has no more value than the bullsh*t dreamed up by Blondie and her chum.

She'll just have to shriek. This is a perfect example of why biased haters cannot produce 'court reports'. Of the two, I would trust the Guedes version, as it is in normal, colloquial English. Unlike Morais' efforts.

Absolutely shocking. Someone had better break it to Morais that the little reputation she had left is sinking faster than the Titanic.

She's falsified a court report.

She can't care much about reputation, Bonny. She has none.   

We knew she altered an awful lot of Portuguese material, and censors what she doesn't want her sheep to know, but this has to be the worst yet.

She's altered a witness statement and invented words which were not used by Kate McCann.

She may have to apologize again.....   

If anyone reading can use the screengrabs of the two versions, as proof of what Morais has done, help yourselves. The more people who know about this, the better.

Looks like the haters - like Stuck Record - that claimed the judge told Gerry McCann to 'shut up' were also lying.

The judge says that in a civil trial the parties aren't allowed to spontaneous depositions. But she allows him: please do speak!

I don't think there's much doubt that Gonzo is up Sh*t Creek and paddleless; that may be why there's been so much frantic lying, spinning and invention going on, in the usual vain attempt to stave off the inevitable.

Incidentally, there is only one possible reaction to finding out that Bennett and the disgusting activities of the Hounders are going to add to Amoral's final bill.
