The case of Madeleine makes headlines today: On 3 Disappeared in May 2007 the then three year old Madeleine McCann from a Portuguese holiday apartment while their parents eat only a few feet away in the evening. The photo of the blonde girl is seen on almost all international front pages - it will begin an unprecedented search, which performs throughout Europe and up to Marrakech. People around the world with hope to the parents: The Pope blesses a photo of Madeleine, the British government turns on celebrities such as soccer star David Beckham and author JK Rowling show solidarity. The police went to hundreds of hints, get in the meantime even the parents themselves under suspicion. But until now no trace of the missing girl. In "Beckmann" Kate and Gerry McCann are visiting for the first time in a German talk show. They talk about their life since the disappearance of their daughter, they deal with the suspicions about her and hope that they will one day find Madeleine.

How far can you go to save the life of a child? On 27 September 2002, the eleven-year old banker's son kidnapped Jakob von Metzler, shortly after arrest, investigators Magnus Gäfgen. But the law student says nothing about the whereabouts of the child. Jacob alive to rediscover threatens Detective Chief Ortwin Enniger him at the direction of Deputy Chief of Police Wolfgang Daschner Frankfurt with physical violence. What Enniger not know at this time: The kidnappers have already killed Jakob von Metzler, and hides the corpse in a lake. Gäfgen is convicted of murder to life imprisonment. Later, the two policemen and Enniger Daschner indicted and convicted of coercion of suspects by the threat of pain. Gäfgen went against his conviction: In summer, he said the Frankfurt district court to € 3000 for pain and suffering and, with the sentence for rebellion. .. At "Beckmann" Ortwin Enniger talks about how he the perpetrator to talk brought also a guest, Reinhard Müller Legal expert assesses the case Gäfgen and the question that is hotly debated in public: A child killer sues for assault, an investigatory policeman who wants to save the life of a child is convicted - is that fair?

Okay, I have asked a friend to check the online Beckman page and he says it's not on there yet. As soon as it is he will send me the link and I will post it on here. I have been told that the interpretors talk over Gerry & Kates' voices, but that they look well and it was a good interview. LL
