Among the witnesses due to be questioned over the next three days is British ex-pat Robert Murat.

What could Murat possibly be a witness to? He was sitting in the kitchen with mumsy, let us not forget.

 Of course it has to be.  He does have that kind of ego which requires some sort of adulation.  Rather like Bennett in that regard.

Who wanted a new investigation? Yes, that's right, Kate and Gerry.

I think it would be a short step indeed to link one with the other. Without Kate and Gerry making all sorts of noises about having a new investigation, a case could be made that no new investigation would have been ordered. Millions of pounds saved.
An astute politician...or an astute newspaper editor...might pick up on that.

Hounder forgets that the media DID pick up on the McCanns' pleas for a new investigation into their daughter's disappearance - scarcely the action of guilty people, is it? But most definitely the action of a couple desperate to be reunited with their abducted child.

And whether they like it or not, £10 million is chickenfeed in terms of government expenditure. Normal, decent people will feel it is worth every penny, though bottomfeeders like the hounders clearly don't give a XXXX about a missing child.

All they care about is protecting their beloved Big Rock Rocky Amoral, notorious perjurer and all-round waste of oxygen.

Robert Murat is due to be interviewed as a witness tomorrow. I understand his lawyer will be present for the interview.
