Fascinating to see the fantastic Hounder Researchers fail to notice that there's something very wrong with that story, start speculating because of it, turn their imaginings into Troo Facts, and invent entire new conspiracy theories.

Ignoring the fact that the story is glaringly obviously wrong to begin with.

Again, where is the ENGLISH REPUBLIC?

The CartofMuck branch of Team Gonzo is getting sloppy; mayhap they're in a panic about something?

The Express has a somewhat more sane report:

Madeleine McCann inquiry: Police make progress at crucial summit meeting with Portuguese

BRITISH police have met with Portuguese prosecutors for a crucial summit meeting over the Madeleine McCann inquiry.

Published: 12:33, Sun, March 15, 2015By JOHN TWOMEY

Scotland Yard detectives had detailed discussions with the Portuguese over the vital next steps in the multi-million pound probe.

It is understood to be the first time officers from Operation Grange have met officials in Lisbon since 11 key witnesses were re-interviewed in December.

Similar meetings are planned for the near future as the eighth anniversary of Madeleine’s disappearance approaches.

The Metropolitan Police declined to comment on the latest summit. A spokesman said: “We are not providing a running commentary.”

Madeleine’s parents Kate and Gerry are given regular updates on progress of the investigation.

In their last public message, the couple, from Rothley, Leicestershire, said: “It’s very apparent that the determination of the Metropolitan Police remains steadfast.”

Operation Grange was set up in 2011 after the McCanns appealed directly to Prime Minister David Cameron and Home Secretary Theresa May.

So far, it was cost around £10 million.

Madeleine was three when she vanished from the family’s holiday apartment in Praia da Luz on the Algarve in May 2007.

Former GP Mrs McCann and her heart doctor husband, both 46, have never given up hope that their daughter is still alive.

A bit different from the garbage in CartofMuck, isn't it? And it doesn't involve the Republic of England at all.

This is who that idiot fantastic hounder researcher yoyo has decided was at the meeting, from the UK side:

UK side
DCI Nicola Wall
Attorney General
British Ambassador

What a complete frigging moron. rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl

And why would the 'British Ambassador' be there and not someone from the world-famous Republic of England?

It's utterly fascinating to watch them inventing fantastical new Theories that bear NO resemblance to reality. When it hasn't even dawned on them that there's something very wrong with the original material. Hahau Hahau Hahau Hahau

Do they even know who the current AG is? Because it's actually an MP....

Along with the subordinate Solicitor General for England and Wales, the Attorney General serves as the chief legal adviser of the Crown and its government in England and Wales. The current Attorney General is Jeremy Wright, MP.

Who oddly enough (or maybe not) doesn't seem to have been making any trips to Portugal...

http://www.jeremywrightmp.co.uk/

Effing morons, they've got the whole thing totally wrong. As usual. And then, when reality fails to match their deluded imaginings and inventions, they will start whining and crying about Dark Forces and Whitewashes, when as usual, it's their own stupid faults for failing to do even the most basic fact-checking.

http://www.swft.nhs.uk/2015/3/5/south-warwickshire-nhs-foundation-trust-organises-dance-for-comic-relief.aspx

On Friday 13th March 2015, Health Visitors and other teams from South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT) will be hosting a 4 hour dance-a-thon at St Teresa's School in Cubbington, Leamington Spa, to raise money for Comic Relief.
The event is taking place between 6-10pm and to make sure everyone gets into the dancing spirit there will be a DJ playing a range of music from all eras and genres.
During the evening SWFT staff will be selling 80’s inspired accessories as well as refreshments, with all proceeds going towards Comic Relief. Jeremy Wright, MP for Kenilworth and Southam together with Trust’s Chief Executive, Glen Burley will be officially opening the event.

Looks like another EPIC FAIL for Hounder Research. rofl

I see injustice have been trying to disentangle that mess from the Portuguese media as well, and found out that one of the 'magistrates', Pedro do Carmo, is actually the deputy head of the PJ, which makes perfect sense.

I suspect the whole story is a concocted mess, an attempt by Sources close to Gonzo to make a routine meeting sound like something it simply isn't?

1. It wasn't particularly 'high level', it was just 'routine level' as they would know if they ever did the most basic fact checking. Have they found the 'English Republic' yet?

2. 'Rocky'? Anyone that hero-worships dirty cops should get themselves checked out for Fascist tendencies. And if Gonzo had 'won' anything besides yet another court order to sign a large cheque, Guedes and her ilk would have been unable to contain their glee.

Hounder:

The Attorney General is chief legal adviser to the Crown and has a number of independent public interest functions, as well as overseeing the Law Officers’ departments.

Idiot yoyo:

That says is all.
The Director of CPS, Alison Sauders, was in Portugal priorly.
Now the AG, chief legal adviser to the CPS, has also been dragged into this process, it can only mean AG is assessing prosecutability of the case for advice to Prosecutor (CPS) accordingly.

Oh, do learn to read.

The AG was NOT in Portugal.

The AG was at a hospital in his constituency, at a dance-a-thon for Comic Relief.

The CartofMuck story was mangled rubbish.

Just look at those muppets, constructing yet more fanciful scenarios because they can't be arsed doing the most basic fact-checking.

Tis just the way of The World, Bonny. And actually no more devastating than The Village Pump. Some people get treated badly. In the end it only matters of how brave you are.

Absolutely every arsehole has know exactly who I am for several years now, and not one of them has ever pursued a vendetta against me.
I still have the same Email Address and I still live in Melrand, Morbihan, 56310.. Maureen Lang. I am not telling anyone any secrets. This information was always available.
I guess that in the beginning I simply didn't realise how dangerous this information could have been. And thank God for that.
But they took it and plastered it all over our little corner of The Internet, and continue to do so from time to time.

Anthony Bennett was primarily responsible for this. He picked up on my Email Address, and occasionally not so good English, and thought he could scare the shit out of me by exposing who I am. He entirely missed the point of what I am. A bloody hard nosed English Woman with an over active sense of injustice. No one scares me.

But enough of that old rubbish.

EXCLUSIVE: Police urged to shelve Maddie hunt as cops needed in UK to battle terrorism
POLICE were last night urged to shelve the hunt for Madeleine McCann as detectives battle terrorism and a wave of murders.

Officers reeling from £600million of police cuts are struggling to probe 14 unconnected killings across the capital since Christmas while fighting a war on terror.

Meanwhile, a specialist team of 31 detectives continues to work exclusively on the hunt for Madeleine, who vanished eight years ago from her parents’ holiday fl at in Portugal.

Though the mystery has no connection with London, the Metropolitan Police was assigned to investigate four years ago after Madeleine’s parents Kate, 47, and Gerry, 46, made a personal plea to David Cameron.

Despite dozens of trips by offi cers from the UK to Portugal, no one has been arrested and the original probe officer Det Chief Insp Andy Redwood has retired.

But the Operation Grange inquiry, which has so far cost around £10m, is continuing.

Now officers are baffl ed why they are working round the clock investigating a spate of murders and combating the threat posed by Islamic State while 31 Grange detectives who could ease their workloads are barred from helping them.

Spike That is because police chiefs have “ring-fenced” the Madeleine inquiry to prevent the officers involved working on other cases.

Last night police union chiefs called for the probe to be shelved, with detectives assigned to it deployed on other inquiries. Metropolitan Police Federation chairman John Tully told the Daily Star: “It is time to re-focus on what we need to do to keep London safe.

We no longer have the resources to conduct specialist inquiries all over the world which have nothing to do with London.

“The Met has long been seen as the last resort for investigations others have struggled with elsewhere.

“But we have made £600m of cuts. We have closed 63 police stations across London. Another £800m of cutbacks are anticipated over the next four years.

It is surprising to see an inquiry like the McCann investigation ringfenced. I have heard a few rumblings of discontent about it from lots of sources.

“When the force is facing a spike in murder investigations it is not surprising there is resentment of signifi cant resources diverted to a case that has no apparent connection with London.”

Operation Grange was set up to review the original Portuguese police probe into Madeleine’s disappearance aged three from her family’s holiday apartment in the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz on May 3, 2007.

After the Portuguese inquiry was shelved as “unsolved” the McCanns, from Rothley, Leics, successfully appealed to the PM to get the Met to re-examine the case.

Last night a Met Police spokesman confirmed the 31 offi cers assigned to Operation Grange work solely on that investigation and are not involved with other inquiries.

==========

Frankly, I don't believe a word of that. Why would decent police officers 'resent' trying to find a missing child?

And is hunting terrorists actually the job of the police, and not the security services? Maybe the UK shouldn't have illegally attacked and invaded other countries in the first place, and MI5 or whatever should NOT have been fannying around trying to recruit so many islamist crazies?

Ten million quid is a drop in the ocean and the bills for this investigation are positively frugal in comparison to a great deal of the politically correct, progressive crap the police throw money away on.

As the police are so strapped for cash, I think it would be a good gesture for the parents to give the remaining money in the Fund back to the taxpayers.

Really? So the bottom-feeders and one-handed typists could then accuse the McCanns of 'bribing' the Yard?

These creatures are as stupid as they are sick in the head. IMO, of course.

As I suspected, there's something not entirely kosher about the story. Not that that will make any difference to the Gonzo devotees currently slavering with glee at the thought of Madeleine never being found - utterly disgusting to observe.

Incidentally, why have the haters decided every single word of this Star story is a Troo Fact

When they refused to believe the Star story about Leyland the troll killing herself with helium?

Looks like, contrary to the versions being spun by the hate squad, that the police were actually protesting about cuts in general, and what was being endangered.

Express repeat the Star story, with a quick name-change of churnalist:

http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/564729/Police-urged-shelve-Madeleine-McCann-hunt

"When the force is facing a spike in murder investigations it is not surprising there is resentment of significant resources diverted to a case that has no apparent connection with London."

Can't be much of a detective to come out with that, when it's not coming out of the Met budget....you'd think he might have Detected which department is actually paying for it.
