Do we know what samples are held in the lab in Coimbra ? Is there any chance the are some left of the blood samples behind the sofa or the fluids from the car ?
That would be a miracle I suppose.
*sigh*
For the millionth time....
1. There were no 'fluids' in the car.
2. The blood traces on the floor have ALREADY been identified; much of it came from a clumsy Portuguese police officer.
All this is in the police files; why do these idiots never bother reading them?

Allan Day Can't see my comments on Daily Mail! Anyone who hasn't done so yet you can give existing comments thumbs up - or in most cases thumbs down! As someone on here said earlier the votes speak volumes.

Re: The Yard back in Portugal
The famously-stupid yoyo imagines this is what the Yard is asking Murat and co:
"Did you know Kate and Gerry, or any of their holiday friends prior to the incident"?"
"Did you hear or see them saying or acting out of the oridinary when you were acting as their translator"?
"Did they behave peculiarly that you feel the Police need to know"
Oh, do stop being silly! It's astounding that they can't see what's going on, it's all but biting them on the nose.
They might like to ponder this. One of Gonzo's reasons for making the McCanns arguidos was that the law was just days off changing, so that the likes of him could no longer do that to people without EVIDENCE.
As has been explained repeatedly to the haters, and as was repeated this week in court:
He added that the investigation deviated from any objectivity and that the British police, Martin Grime and Mark Harrison realised this and feared that the McCanns were going to be subject to an impulsive, unfounded making of arguidos.
He also recalled that Stuart Prior was "very worried" when he met with the PJ on the fourth of september, just days before the McCanns were made arguidos. And that he was worried because he knew it was wrong to accuse them of anything because there was no evidence and the DNA reports were being misread, for the PJ's convenience.
It was a shockingly nasty thing for Gonzo to do, but typical of the man. Anyway, the law has changed now and no-one can be arguido-ed without actual EVIDENCE against them.
There are now FOUR new arguidos, at least one of them being Murat's friend. This means there is actual EVIDENCE against them.
Anyone that imagines the Yard have the slightest interest in what Murat thinks of the McCanns needs to see a psychiatrist. As do those attempting to make up a ridiculous story involving someone who is the spitting image of Murat, that is bi-lingual and translates for the police, isn't actually Murat.
Wake up and smell the coffee, and stop being so STUPID.

But back to the point of the story...what was the point of sending over Alison Saunders and her colleague, back in April 2013 I think. Honestly, what has it achieved?
Hasn't anyone told him that some of the current witnesses *cough* are British ex-pats?

Re: The Yard back in Portugal
I suspect he's gone totally round the bend, Lily. He's now posted up that peculiar supposed document about the unbanning of Gonzo's book. I do think the posters on injustice that suggested a chunk of Gonzo's deposition is in it may be right. It's NEVER read like a genuine legal ruling, even by the strange standards of Portuguese courts.
Oh, and if he's going to quote European Human rights law, he really needs to quote the whole thing, and not just the bits he fancies.
What was it Judge Tugendhat said to him?
In effect, the Defendant’s submission is a straightforward denial of the Claimants’ rights to equal treatment and protection under the law. His attitude that fundamental or human rights are only for himself is one that is by no means unique to himself. It brings the law of human rights into disrepute. The true position is obvious: there can be no human rights unless those claiming them also acknowledge their responsibility to respect the rights of others, as Art 10 specifically provides. - See more at: http://madeleinemccann.org/blog/2014/04/20/mccanns-v-bennett-judgment-sentencing-remarks-of-judge/#sthash.YxWGHm19.dpuf

http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/546818/Brazilian-couple-who-wanted-a-child-re-examined-in-Madeleine-hunt?
After British detectives sat in on interviews in Faro with witnesses last week, the Sunday Express can reveal Policia Judiciaria co-ordinator Ana Paula Rito is taking a broader look at leads which may not have been fully pursued.
She is now keen to learn more about the Brazilian couple, who are said to have expressed a strong desire to have a child when they were in the Algarve in May 2007 when Madeleine vanished.
A few days after Madeleine vanished from flat 5a of the Ocean Club in Praia da Luz, a British man came forward with his concerns about the couple and was interviewed by Portuguese detectives.
On the night of the abduction the man was closing his video rental shop just a few streets away from the apartment.
At 10.45pm, 45 minutes after Kate McCann had discovered that her daughter was missing, he noticed the Brazilian woman, aged about 25, driving past his shop in a red car.
he couple, who were staying on a yacht at the marina left shortly after the disappearance and have not been seen again
He told police there was a dog in the front seat and the woman driver kept looking at something on the back seat which he could not see.
Her partner, a bald Brazilian man in his early 40s, had worked on a local farm but was fired after some machinery was damaged and later worked at Lagos marina, about four miles from Luz doing boat repair work.
The couple, who were staying on a yacht at the marina left shortly after the disappearance and have not been seen again.
A dark-haired woman seen hanging around the apartment at 8pm on the night Madeleine vanished has never been identified or traced.
On Friday expatriate British businessman Robert Murat was re-interviewed for several hours, the last of 10 witnesses to be seen.

I think this is the first we've heard about Brazilian couples, isn't it? This is rather more interesting:
Policia Judiciaria co-ordinator Ana Paula Rito is taking a broader look at leads which may not have been fully pursued.
If that is true - and it's the Express, so the whole story is probably rubbish - then it is yet another nail in Amoral's coffin. Did he do ANYTHING besides try to frame the McCanns?

Where the McCanns Mad Madeiran lawyer ran away to, just before that story broke? What a coincidence.
Deluded tw@t - do they actually believe sh*te like this, or do they just tell each other these fairy stories to comfort themselves?
Marcos didn't 'run away', he married a Brazilian girl, at a wedding in Brazil, and the couple have been back living in Portugal for some time now.
Didn't Morais bother to tell them?
PS - Marcos isn't 'mad', either - just ask Gonzo, he's terrified of him, due to Marcos thrashing him in court several times now.
Morais probably hasn't told them about that, either.

The Brazilian couple disappeared very quickly after Madeleine went missing. What's to investigate? You can't expect poor Gonzo to investigate people who weren't around anymore.

Well, you have to be fair, Lily. He was having terrible trouble as it was. Recovering from hangovers. People trying to make him an Arguido. His wife complaining about his girl friends.
How could he be expected to investigate foreigners who disappeared on a boat? What with someone seeing someone disappearing towards The Beach. That Beach where he caught drug smugglers landing drugs.

It wasn't Gonzo that caught the smugglers on the beach of quiet, sleepy little PDL with all those bales of cannabis, Sabot - he was long gone by then.
Who knows, maybe that's why they were caught?

Drug bust in Praia da Luz
AN ENGLISH man and a Portuguese woman were arrested last Tuesday (October 9) on the A2, in Setúbal, on suspicion of drug trafficking. A large amount of drugs was later seized from their house in Praia da Luz.The couple were arrested at a petrol station in Alcácer do Sal by a special drug task force of Sintra police for allegedly drug trafficking the party drug, ecstasy, and its pure form, MDMA, in various nightclubs around the country.Police believe the couple left their house in Praia da Luz and spent last weekend in Santarém, central Portugal, where they are alleged to have sold drugs in various nightclubs. They then spent last Monday in Mafra, north of Lisbon, and were on their way back to the Algarve the following day. They were followed by police officers for the latter part of their journey and when they stopped at the service station, at around 6pm, in a Vauxhall with British registration, police took the opportunity to arrest them. The British man had allegedly hidden ecstasy pills in the car prior to his arrest. He initially denied the allegations of drug trafficking and allowed police to search the property in Praia da Luz.It is believed that police seized around a kilogramme of pure MDMA, which in this form is rarely found in great quantities and which is used to produce ecstasy pills and methamphetamines in laboratories.Police also confiscated nearly 3,000 ecstasy pills, 87 doses of hallucinogenic drug LSD, hashish, cannabis and 900 euros from the property.Police refused to confirm the identities of the couple.Do you have a view on this story? Post sharonl Today at 6:54 pm
If the man worked at the marina there would surely be payroll records and the details of.a bank account to which his wages were paid. He would have given his name and contact details. The yacht would have been registered, there would had been berthing records etc. so, bingo with all this information they must know exactly who he his and It wouldn't be too difficult to locate him.
She doesn't know very much about harbours and ports in dodgy areas where illegal things are going on, does she?
Does she actually imagine that casual labourers at harbours pay taxes and have their pay put in bank accounts? Or that people never take backhanders to unsee things and not keep records?
Bingo my ar@e.
