Large Hadron Collider restarts after two-year rebuild

Is this what is called 'the next Big Bang'?     LL    

I'm not sure if this is good or bad, LL. I am all for beneficial scientific progress, but the Hadron guys give the distinct impression they don't actually know what they're messing about with....

Remember when it had to be shut down because someone dropped their sandwich in it?

I remember it being shut down, I thought it was for upgrading. But then, I ain't scientifically minded and if it's not benefiting me and mine it doesn't interest me, to be truthful. Oh, just looked it up and it was a bird that dropped something into it, not a human, is that right? LL

Ah, I checked and I see we were both right, LL.

It was a sandwich, but it was dropped by a bird, not a human. Mind you, I think that makes it worse, not better...

We didn't know what the consequences of the H-bomb would be either........just saying.
