To help pay his legal fees, a fund in Portugal has raised about £5,000 and now a woman living in England, Leanne Baulch, has set up a “gofundme” crowd funding site, which has raised £3,000.

After analysing the judgment from judge Maria Castro, Amaral has decided to appeal, which could take two years, buying him time to raise more money. Describing the judgment as “unfair” he says he will appeal until the “very last judicial instance”, which signals it could end up in Portugal’s Supreme Court or the European Court of Human Rights.

Supporters point to a section of the judgment saying it was a proven fact that British police dogs detected the scent of human blood and a cadaver in Apartment 5a of the Ocean Club in Praia da Luz, from where Madeleine vanished eight years ago today.


If they imagine that is what the judgement says, they're even stupider than I thought.

What it actually says is that Tavares de Almeida - the convicted torturer - claimed that in his discredited 'half-time' report.

A very big difference indeed - as they would know if they had the intelligence to follow the fascinating legal discussion and dissection on Injustice.

BRIT trolls are helping pay the legal bills of an ex- cop who said Madeleine McCann's parents were behind her disappearance. Hundreds of donations have flooded into a sick online campaign for shamed Goncalo Amaral 56.
Today marks the eighth anniversary since Madeleine vanished from Praia da Luz, Portugal, when she was three years old.

John Green paid £10 and wrote "I am a retired policeman and will never understand how criminal proceedings have never been taken against the McCann's .
Mary Benusis said her £50 was in memory of a Twitter troll found dead after being exposed as being behind vile social media messages about the McCann's.
Speaking after winning the six year battle with Amaral ,Kate McCann said" It was about stopping awful lies which hindered the search for Madeleine " Last night a family spokesman declined to comment.


Naturally, the deluded haters are trying to convince themselves that being named and shamed as being part of a SICK ONLINE CAMPAIGN for a SHAMED COP is somehow good...

They're very stupid, which doubtless makes them perfect for Team Gonzo.

That ISN'T the property he bought with his exploitation of Madeleine McCann.

That's the property that was siezed years previously because he didn't pay the mortgage on it. Sounds like Gonzo has been spinning James Murray a tale of woe, and Murray didn't know that it was a matter of record why that house was seized.

And it was nothing to do with the McCanns.

Myths have also picked up on the hater foolishness about what the judgement actually said about dogs - not to mention her making it clear that the McCanns are innocent people.

Except they weren't 'proven'. What was actually 'proven' was that convicted torturer de Almeida claimed they were in his long-discredited report.

Discredited, in case the haters still haven't grasped reality, by the Attorney General's Archiving Report, which cleared the McCanns of any wrongdoing.

I know they find it difficult, as they have so much emotionally invested in their hate campaign, but they really do need to face reality. Learning to read and UNDERSTAND would be a good idea, too.

the legal authorities in Portugal may well decide the fund-raising is, in fact, unearned income, and sieze that, too.

INTERNET trolls are funding the legal bills of a shamed Portuguese detective who claimed Madeleine McCann’s parents were behind her disappearance.

A British policeman is one of more than 330 people who have donated more than £5,300 towards Goncalo Amaral’s legal bills after he was sued by Madeleine’s parents Kate and Gerry.

The sickening news comes on the eight year anniversary of Madeleine’s disappearance.

Amaral was ordered to pay €500,000 in libel damages to the McCanns following the publication of a damning and unfounded book, “Maddie, The Truth of the Lie”.

But Leanne Baulch, 22, of Birmingham, created the page and wrote the fund was created “as a quest for justice and backed by supporters from all over the globe, in solidarity, friendship and above all, in the interest of furthering the investigation of the case into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann”.

It adds: “There are many who follow Amaral’s dissatisfaction, and whom, like him, urge for the day the truth, or some more of it will emerge.”

Amaral, 56, is to launch an expensive appeal against the payout decision.....more at link.

Seriously, how can any sane person give Gonzo money? The other Express piece was a tissue of lies - his Olhao property was siezed because of his vast debts long before the McCanns had the misfortune to hear his name.

The only one of his many court cases he has ever won was that peculiar, hole in corner temporary unbanning of his 'book'.

It's not that long since he lost his case against Marcos Correia and others, and was ordered to pay the costs of that.

I seem to recall the judge ruling that Gonzo had no 'honour' to lose in the first place?

But hey, if stupid, nasty people want to pour money into the bottomless pit that is Amaral, who are we to complain? And it's always good to see his name linked with hater trolls.

THE torment continues for the parents of missing Madeleine McCann with British trolls now raising legal fees for an ex cop who claimed they were behind her disappearance.

Goncalo Amaral was ordered to pay Gerry and Kate McCann £434,000 in damages last week after the wrongful accusations.

But following the libel case, it emerged that sick trolls have now been funding the former police chief's campaign.

Amaral, 56, who initially led the hunt for Maddie before being axed, made the allegations in his book The Truth of the Lie.

He is now planning to launch a costly appeal against the verdict from the libel case.

The gofundme webpage named Legal Defence for Goncalo Amaral has been set up with hundreds of people donating.

An ex-British policemen is among those supporting the appeal.

John Green paid £10 and wrote: “I am a retired police officer and will never understand how criminal proceedings have never been taken against the McCanns.”

While Bridgette Barnes, who also donated £10, posted: "2nd of monthly donations I will make to this cause, for however long it takes."

So far £5,390 has been raised out of an estimated £25,000.

Today marks the eighth anniversary of the youngster's disappearance after she went missing from the family's holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal in 2007.

The McCann's today released a statement today saying something positive 'has' to come up soon.

They wrote: "Eight years. There's no gentle way of putting it. Whilst most days, weeks and months are fairly similar – Madeleine is missed every day – this time of year cuts deep as it's a harsh reminder of time having passed and precious years with Madeleine lost.

"Without a shadow of doubt, the love, support, help and prayers that we continue to receive from so many people, in spite of the years which have gone by, encourages us, maintains our hope and lifts our spirits."

They added: "We've always promised ourselves that something positive has to come out of all the suffering Madeleine and our family have endured.

"Thank you again for your incredible and very humbling kindness and support."

It emerged yesterday that police are following a new line of inquiry into burglaries made at holiday apartments in the area at the time.

The search for the youngster, who would now be ten years old, has so far cost £10million.

Makes TROLLS FOR GONZO sound really nasty, doesn't it? Which they are, of course. Again, well done the Star for making it clear how closely these creatures are linked to Gonzo.

I think a lot of people in the UK will not have realised that until now, that he is the eminence grise in their hate campaign.

Reading through the comments from donors was interesting. There are at least three claiming to be ex-coppers. Several said the came to the site after reading about it in the Sun. There's even donations from "Isabel Duarte", "robert guest", "the dogs", "Katie Hopkins" and "jasmine alfibab3

Let's hope that the tabloids follow up on this, and make it clear that Baulch, or whoever is running it, thinks it is big and clever to clone and impersonate people who support the McCann family.

And why are the haters screeching, anyway? Have they forgotten, they don't approve of press regulation, that they want nothing but Free Speach, je suis Charlie and all that?

They've nothing to complain about just because people are Speaking Freely about them.

They might like to remember that only a handful of people saw their gibbers on their hate sites. Now, because of their own foolishness in taking their support of a dirty cop into the REAL world, millions of people are reading about just how nasty they are.

After all, who else but someone pretty nasty and sick would support a dirty, criminal cop, to the detriment and harm of a missing British child and her family?
