Star - 'Sick trolls raised £25k'

Sick trolls raised £25k for McCann cop's court appeal
SUPPORTERS have given more than £25,000 to help a Portuguese ex-police chief fight a libel payout to the parents of Madeleine McCann.
By Jerry Lawton / Published 1st June 2015
It was revealed that 1,559 people, including trolls, have pledged donations via a website to Goncarlo Amaral’s appeal against a £357,000 order.
And one four-figure donation is allegedly from members of the Metropolitan Police in London, which is conducting its own probe into Madeleine’s disappearance in Portugal in 2007.
The donation to Mr Amaral’s fighting fund on website gofundme.com was credited to “MPS”, believed to refer to the Metropolitan Police Service.
It is claimed the money came from “an anonymous but very large group of British police officers” said to be “outraged at the way in which a senior investigating officer has been treated”.
Mr Amaral was ordered to surrender the cash by a Portuguese court after accusing Kate McCann, 47, and Gerry, 46, of covering up their missing daughter’s death in a book about the case.
Leanne Baulch, 22, from Birmingham, said she launched the fighting fund in a “quest for justice” because Mr Amaral couldn’t raise the money.
She said cash had poured in from “all over the globe”.

Oh no! Does that mean that the police will try to get to the bottom of that?

Re: Star - 'Sick trolls raised £25k'
I would say they have to, Lily, as the clear implication is that there is a group of police officers, possibly within the Yard itself, that are actively working AGAINST a Metropolitan police investigation.
That is serious stuff indeed. Or would be, if they existed. In the unlikely event that they do exist, they would have been better employed keeping their money - they will need it when they are sacked for breaking just about every UK police regulation known to man.

Re: Star - 'Sick trolls raised £25k'
And, of course, the McCanns would be perfectly justified in making official complaints about this. After all, we are being led to believe there is a cabal of officers within the Metropolitan police that is trying to interfere with work to find their missing child, and bring the scum that abducted her to justice.
It's dangerously close to perverting the course of justice. Surprising that 'police officers' didn't know that.

I think that competent police men and women do know that.
This could get very ugly indeed.

Thanks to the Daily Star for reminding me that I am a troll! actually I am a disabled parent with a disabled child, here is £10 from out DLA, we cant really afford this but what price do you put on truth and justice, without it we have nothing!
Another one giving away taxpayers' money to a bent cop. They'd all better hope that Jobcentres, etc - and especially Ian Duncan Smith - don't see this, or they are liable to find themselves in hot water and their benefits cut.

I've received reliable information about the "fund". It's a scam. Will post more about that soon.
Looking forward to reading that - Baulch has NO idea what she has got into.

Re: Star - 'Sick trolls raised £25k'
Myths again:
If the unemployed single mother on benefits is too foolish to question the wisdom of linking her fund raising efforts to the impersonation of police then she probably lacks the sense to be worried about it. There is a bank account behind that fake "Met Officer" linking it to the person responsible, do they really think police will have a problem finding out who that person is?

Re: Star - 'Sick trolls raised £25k'
Here's a thing. No-one except the inner circle ever gets to see the outgoings from the Gonzo fund, just the income.
So, if someone was to make a large 'donation', pretending to be a group of Met police officers to give them hope, very few would be any the wiser if that 'donation' was repaid once it was in the main Gonzo fund, would they?
Not accusing, just saying......

Is that why the Star used the word 'allegedly'?
And one four-figure donation is allegedly from members of the Metropolitan Police in London, which is conducting its own probe into Madeleine’s disappearance in Portugal in 2007.

Hi @JerryLawton, quick question. You implied in your article that I have given you a comment, which isn't true. Can you amend that? #McCann
What's she moaning about? Thought she wanted her name in the tabloids? Is she denying she said this?
Leanne Baulch, 22, from Birmingham, said she launched the fighting fund in a “quest for justice” because Mr Amaral couldn’t raise the money.
She said cash had poured in from “all over the globe”.
It's perfectly normal for the media to quote other media, she's nothing to complain about.
Incidentally, as Baulch is whining about something so trivial -
HOW DOES SHE THINK THE MCCANNS FEEL, WITH HER AND HER FELLOW HATERS LYING ABOUT THEM, 24/7?

Quote from a longer post:
It's about bloody time that the PJGA publishes the figures of the fund. What went in and what went out to what since 2009?
Oh and I've said the GFM Blutch fund is a scam, right? I don't have time now but I will post soon more info about that. Miles Davis is asking the right questions....
Looks like the inevitable Tears Before Bedtime may be about to start....Baulch is clearly totally out of her depth, a perfect fall guy.

Dear me, I hope nobody gets the idea to ask the fund raisers if there is an actual organisation, charity, association or similar attached to this "Proyecto" - i.e. if it's registered in some type of official register anywhere with a regulatory body supervising it. That would put the cat among the pigeons any old day...
Can I say, Tick Tock?

Is there anything more important than freedom of speech. Go get them Goncalo
£15
They are, IMO, exactly like that horrible American woman Geller. The one that uses 'free speach' to heap the most revolting insults, abuse and mockery on Muslims, (or mooslimes, as her ilk calls them) then runs away crying and plays the victim when her abhorrent behaviour has a very predictable result.
Their idea of 'Free Speach' actually IS the right to shout Fire! in a crowded theatre - then play the victim if someone treads on their toes in the resulting stampede.
In reality, they do not support genuine free speech, they support hate speech, just like Geller, the Westboro Baptists, and all the other bottomfeeders.

@Daily_Star Surely you mean Sick Parents freeze a man's assets for years leaving him defenceless against their legal attacks ? #mccann
Byron McGovern @DJBMcG 1m1 minute ago
@k1482 @Daily_Star why has it taken u GA 'supporters' so long to help him? he could've got decent lawyer with yr help. u failed him #mccann
'Defenceless'? Utter bollox - Gonzo has had some of the best lawyers in Portugal, and he's fallen out with every single one of them.
His last New Lawyer was none other than the so-called 'police superlawyer'-
http://www.mccannfiles.com/id408.html
Gonçalo Amaral confirmed that he discharged his previous lawyer and gave all the cases to Santos de Oliveira, known as the police super lawyer. "I can confirm that I have hired Dr. Oliveira, but I won't make further comments. Results will speak for themselves".
He has since sacked Dr Oliveira - by txt, only hours before the court was due to sit - without paying him, and has got yet another New Lawyer since then.
Interestingly, Oliviera also represented the crime rag O Crime - yes, the very rag in which so much crap about the McCanns and others has appeared.
So, please spare us this utter bullsh*t about poor, hard-done-by Gonzo being 'defenceless'.
Though I suppose it's a sign of the utter degeneracy, and readiness to lie, of the organisers of the Scrounge Funds that they are coming out with garbage like this to get money off gullible fools.

Re: Star - 'Sick trolls raised £25k'
Is there the slightest chance that prominent Gonzo supporter dirtymac, and the rest of the hounders, are going to stop inventing utter filth about poor Amber Peat? Or are they all enjoying speculating far too much, like so many McCann-haters?
Onlookers would be forgiven for thinking that they all get some kind of perverse thrill from inventing muck about other people. And what does that say about what goes on in their heads?
