Trump, a first-time candidate, implied his stance on immigration could have kept out the terrorists who slipped into the United States and trained in the country to hijack the four commercial airliners and kill nearly 3,000 people on American soil on Sept. 11, 2001.

It's actually the second part, which I cannot see in the Fox report, which is more important. A good few intelligence people DID warn that an attack involving Saudis and airliners was coming, and were ignored.

The truth about 9/11 isn't in garbage about hologram planes and imaginary controlled demolitions, it's in who knew it was coming - and who profited from it.

And why innocent Iraq was attacked instead of guilty Saudia Arabia.

Doubling down on his comments regarding George W. Bush and 9/11, GOP frontrunner Donald Trump has declared that the then president knew that the attacks were coming.

Appearing on CNN’s New Day Trump refused to apologise for previous comments about Bush and the 9/11 attacks, going as far to say that the president was given warning, and that he had “advanced notice” that it was coming

“Look, his brother gets hit on, he’s a loyal person, he’s loyal to his brother,” Trump said referring to his rival Jeb Bush. “But his brother made some mistakes.”

“His brother could have made a mistake with the actual hit,” Trump continued.

“They did know it was coming. George Tenet, the head of the CIA, told them it was coming. So they did have advanced notice,” the billionaire candidate added.

Trump emphasized once again that he was not “blaming” Bush for 9/11, but did say “They said that our country was safe under Bush. Well, what about the World Trade Center coming down in the worst attack in history?”

Trump is entirely correct that US intelligence, and in particular the CIA had advanced knowledge of 9/11. This was documented by every major news organisation just days and weeks after the attacks and it is not a conspiracy theory.....more at link.

Bonny, that is what I hope will happen too.  

I said before, I don't particularly like him as a person, but that is nothing to do with him being the president.  I so hope he is the GOP candidate and that he wins.  The US needs the best person at this time and the rest of the world deserves that from us too.

Only someone like Trump can do it, Lily. Too much about 9/11 has been tainted by conspiraloons that don't understand physics or engineering and end up ranting about controlled explosions and Building 7.

They never seem to show the slightest interest in the odd fluctuations in the stock markets just before 9/11, though...

Jeb Bush was Governor of Florida when 12 of the 9/11 hijackers got Florida driver’s licenses that allowed them to rent cars, rent planes and of course, board commercial aircraft without additional scrutiny. Mohammad Atta was on the terrorist watch list and there was a warrant out for his arrest but when he was pulled over by police in Florida, they let him go, simply telling him to show up in court the next month. I probably don’t need to point out that he didn’t show up. Many of the hijackers overstayed their visas and Jeb Bush let them run around Florida anyway. Jeb might want to rethink his immigration policy before someone blames HIM and not just his brother for 9/11.



I am sure I read somewhere that the actor James Woods was on a flight with a Middle Eastern type who gave Woods bad vibes; he reported it, but nothing happened. And the other passenger went on to hijack a plane on 9/11?

He certainly was prescient.  Even mentioning bin Laden by name.  

It was pretty disgraceful how easily people could get the licenses etc under his watch.  That should not have happened.

I wonder what he (Trump) will come out with next?

He seems to be very good at making almost casual remarks which end up damaging the opposition horribly.
