We knew that the entire area west of LAX (the Pacific Ocean area) was to be off limits to planes for approx one week, IIRC.  This must be why.

It strikes me, Lily, that Trump is using rather similar tactics to those used by Ronald Reagan - he's ignoring the SJWs, cutting out the media chatterers, and speaking directly to the American people?

I doubt if I will ever like him - the offshore windfarm saga is still rumbling on - but his sheer swagger stands out from the rest of the grey men and women. And I suspect his foreign policy, which seems to consist of encouraging peace so golf courses can be built, would actually go down well with Putin, Xi, etc., as it involves making money instead of spilling blood for Freedumb.

I loved it Bonny.  I have seen the reruns.  He is such a good sport and it may well have earned him who knows how many new supporters.  



I did enjoy it when he said that the house (the White House) was smaller than his usual homes.

Rather interesting that the perpetually offended could only raise 100 or so demonstrators outside.....

A California school district announced last week a ban on the drawing of religious figures after a parent complained about a class assignment in which students were directed to draw the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

The task was part of a 7th-grade history worksheet, “Vocabulary Pictures: The Rise of Islam,” at High Desert School in Acton, according to the Los Angeles Daily News. Muslims are forbidden from drawing Muhammad, and threats from Islamic terrorist groups have largely ended the practice among non-Muslims as well.

“I have directed all staff to permanently suspend the practice of drawing or depiction of any religious leader,” Acton-Agua Dulce Unified School District Superintendent Brent Woodard told the Daily News in a text message on Wednesday. “I am certain this teacher did not intend to offend anyone and,in fact, was simply teaching respect and tolerance for all cultures.”

Well, at least they now know that Islam is completely IN-tolerant.
