Oh, and how could we forget Obama achieving 110% of the registered voters in some neighbourhoods four years ago?
I forgot just how many deceased people voted for him too. He must have some magical qualities.
Very shy.

Re: US politics and election
Another one bites the dust....
http://news.sky.com/story/1639568/chris-christie-to-suspend-white-house-bid
Republican Chris Christie is suspending his White House campaign, US networks report.
The New Jersey Governor was widely tipped to bow out a day after finishing sixth in the New Hampshire primary.
He had said he was returning home to "take a deep breath" before making a decision about his political future.
A Christie source told ABC News: "We bet the ranch on New Hampshire, and no one ever anticipated the Trump phenomenon."
Mr Christie's brand as a tough-talking truth teller was overshadowed by the no-holds-barred bombast of Republican front-runner Donald Trump.
The governor had argued his ability to be elected twice as a Republican in a staunchly Democratic state showed he had cross-party appeal unlike any other candidate.
But Mr Christie has never shaken off the 2013 Bridgegate scandal, in which his aides orchestrated lane closures on the George Washington Bridge.
Federal prosecutors have alleged the traffic jam was retribution against a mayor who didn't back Mr Christie's re-election bid. The governor maintained he knew nothing about it.

She's just awful, Lily, I don't know how she's the gall to run for office. And it seems US voters agree.

Re: US politics and election
It's most amusing, reading HuffPo and other moonbatty sites, Lily. They seem to be in a state of bewildered Outrage! that this terrible, unthinkable thing happened last night.
I notice a theme running through their Outrage! - they are all stunningly arrogant, convinced that they, in their smug circles, know better than the blue-collar Americans of all races and creeds who are plain and simply fed up to the back teeth of being treated like dirt while paying for everything.
It's the same phenomena as in Europe - the leftist elites simply do not know how to handle the huge demos and growing trouble on the streets.
There's nothing clever and counter-culture about the leftists these days - they've become the Establishment, and they've screwed up horribly. They just cannot or will not grasp that people here and in the US are sick to death of globalism, and a totally alien belief system, being forced on them, their cities swamped with ficki fickis - and being expected to foot the bill..
Does anyone really care about being called a raycist or xenophobe any more? I doubt it, the words have lost their meaning. I've seen Trump supporters calling themselves vulgarian rebels - there seems to be a lot of it about.

That is a good question. He has taken out some ads that are quite repugnant too. There is a porn actress in one of them.

Ted Cruz yanks ad featuring porn star
Now, never mind her film career - why is he having to pay actors to pretend to be supporters?

Re: US politics and election
It featured actors playing a group of dismayed former Marco Rubio supporters in a therapy session, according to BuzzFeed. Lindsay played the role of a member of that support group.
Lindsay — who said she is deciding between Cruz and Donald Trump — told BuzzFeed that she was under the impression that the campaign knew about her previous work.
She said she thought the inclusion of a person with such a diverse background would enhance Cruz’s stuffy image.
“It’s not just some old, white Christian bigot that people want to say, ‘It could be, maybe, a cool kind of open-minded woman like me,’ ” she told the site.
Something tells me that's another vote going Trump's way.

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/02/12/cruz-im-not-running-to-be-pastor-in-chief/
In an interview with CBN, Cruz said that a president shouldn’t act as a pastor, and that if he becomes president he will, “be a president of everybody, president of every faith…”
“I’m not running to be ‘Pastor-In-Chief.’ It is not the calling of a political leader to deliver the salvation message. That is the calling of us as believers, it’s the calling of a pastor but it’s a different role to be a political leader.”
That's not what he said when he was cavorting around Iowa like a Cuban-Canadian Reverend Cleophus James.
