Tomorrow is official release day, but the reviews are out today - and they are AWESOME.

I'm so thrilled for my children as they are going to see it tomorrow. They already have their tickets.

I think it will break box office receipts for the opening weekend.

Oh, I remember going to see the very first one, Lily, rather a long time ago...I am delighted to read that the new one hasn't gone down the road of dire CGI special effects, which never quite work. I wasn't keen on the prequels, they just weren't right....

Definitely going to the cinema to see this one, once the first rush has died down a bit - it's too BIG to watch on DVD for the first viewing.

Loved the first one, saw the next two, wasn't at all impressed, haven't bothered with the rest.   Shan't bother with this one either.   LL

This one seems to have stayed pretty faithful to the original, LL, right down to doing this...

Ah, but no Grand Moff Tarkin, the highly respected late Peter Cushing. I only went to see the first one because I was and still am a great fan of him. LL

I was pregnant with my first child when I went to a special screening of the first one. No wonder she is crazy about Star Wars.

It does have the awesome Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, LL....



Now there's someone who is an excellent role model for young laydees - none of this crying and hurt feelings stuff, she just broadswords them.

Not being a ladyee I am totally unmoved by that! I might have considerd it if Liam Neeson was in it (Qui-Gon Jinn, Phantom Menace) - shame Christopher Lee popped his clogs. LL
