As far as I know, Sabot, you can buy Cuban cigars anywhere in the world, except the States - including online. Sample:
http://www.cigarsofcuba.co.uk/
Lily would know if you can get them in the States.

Well, right stupid, isn't it. And I doubt that Cuba cared.
What was it all about anyway? Okay, so the hierarchy of Cuba in those days was corrupt. And then what? So many places were and still are.
I lost the plot about America a long time ago.
I remember only too well, Krushchov heading for Cuba. I was living alone at the end of a Navel Air Station Runway with two small babies and a husband away at sea for two years. Those were the days. Bugger six months and don't apply for compassionate leave because your wife just threw a wobbly.
I was never more scared in my entire life. But we all know what happened to that.
America is corrupt.

Yes, Bonny, you can by Cubans here. It was not always the case though.
Can't refute your last sentence.

Utah residents will have the option of casting ballots in the Republican presidential contest using computers, tablets, and smartphones next week. …
Online “polls” will be open between 7:00 a.m. and 11 p.m. on March 22. Voters will get a receipt that will verify that their vote was recorded correctly. The state party declined to release the number of online voter registrations that it has received. …
“We expect all the jurisdictions across the U.S. to take notice and to look at this experience as something to study and, hopefully, follow,” said Antonio Mugica, founder and chief executive of Smartmatic Group, an election-equipment vendor that is running the Utah election.
Online voting? Via a firm associated with Soros? What could possibly go wrong?

I should have added, but not necessarily in the open market. There are some dedicated stores that sell them.

Why what a surprise. I wonder if elections have used this before?

I hope they get changed before they land - they look as if they are going to a funeral - reluctantly, at that.

Wow, President Obama just landed in Cuba, a big deal, and Raul Castro wasn't even there to greet him. He greeted Pope and others. No respect
The Castros haven't out-reigned everyone bar our own dear Queen by being stupid. They know that Obama is as weak as he's nasty, and also a lame duck.
I am sure that when a US president they can respect lands in Havana, he will get the full works. Maybe even get asked to build a snazzy golf resort, too.

I must be bored, I just googled Cuba and golf.

Seems golf has already arrived there, but there doesn't seem to be a real showstopper. Yet.

Jacinta Gonzalez, inspired by the work being done in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and the strength that people showed, decided that she wanted to settle in the city and work for social justice.
Instead, she's just another Soros lackey.

Re: US elections - Round Two
Morning. Re yesterday's comments that Castro wasn't at the airport to greet Obama I was watching Aljazeera late yesterday evening and that question was put to the commentator in Cuba, who said that it was never intended they would meet before today's get-together.
Not discussing this but notice the Trumper dissing the dirt as per usual. Oh, I had an email last night from a Cuban friend I knew when I worked in the US and he is so excited that he will be able to, hopefully, move back home with his family. His elderly parents are also looking forward to see the island again. LLThe White House says it's taking no offense that Cuban President Raul Castro didn't greet President Barack Obama upon arrival in Havana.
Ben Rhodes, Obama's deputy national security adviser, says it was "never contemplated or discussed" that Castro would be at the airport.
He said the Cubans consider Monday morning's ceremony with Obama and Castro to be the official welcome event.
Several dignitaries were on hand at the airport, including Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez and Cuban Ambassador to the U.S. Jose Cabanas.
But Castro's absence prompted GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump to tweet that it was a sign of "no respect."

Re: US elections - Round Two
Yes, it's good for people that have been separated for so long, isn't it?
I have to say, I don't blame the Cuban people in the slightest for slinging out the disgusting Batista regime back in the 50s, it's just a pity everything spun out of control after that.
Getting involved with the Mafia over Cuba, the whole Bay of Pigs business - not Washington's brightest-ever ideas, which just about guaranteed Cuba was never going to back down. Obama has been somewhat snubbed, though - everyone else has met a Castro. Unless even Obama realised that being photographed with a Castro would be a step too far?
I don't know; it's all very ironic, considering the world was nearly destroyed over Cuba 50+ years ago. What would be interesting would be information leaking out about Cuba, the Mafia and JFK.
