Why on earth does Cupid Stunt think Madeleine's disappearance is 'the crime of the century'?

As with most things, the solution is almost certainly simple. Which means it does NOT involve fridges, coffins, 'faked photos', international conspiracies or POLITICAL INTERFERENCE.

A handful of local criminals, an incompetent police officer, soon to be disgraced, nasty ex-pats that care more about their property prices than children - it really wouldn't take very much for even the most incompetent child abductor/s to get away scot free.

Just think of how all the ex-pats denied holidaying children had been attacked previously - only for the PJ themselves to confirm that there had indeed been victims.

Former police inspector Moita Flores, below, previously told the same TV show he believed the couple would have been accused of abandonment if they had been Portuguese.

He said: “Have no doubts. If this had involved a Portuguese child our public ministry would have immediately set off measures which are in place to protect children.

Case after case of the most disgusting child abuse in Portugal, incest, the lot. If I posted every single case reported in CdM alone, that thread would be 100 pages long, but many of them are too graphic and obscene for an open, English-language site.
