Congratulations to Wales whose under-rated football team sent the over-confident Belgians packing last night. As someone on the radio said "Wales v Iceland in the final?" Hungarian friends are laughing their heads off as it was Belgium who sent Hungary packing and now they are on their way home, defeated by that little Red Dragon!! LL

Oh, yes!! Next matches are Germany v Italy (today) and France v Iceland (tomorrow). Poland took Portugal to the penalty shootout but lost. LL

An update for anyone interested, Germany beat Italy 1-1 (6-5) after an extra 30 minutes play and penalty shots!!!! Tonight Iceland v France .... LL

Funny thing is, LL, the overpaid superstars in Germany and Italy don't interest me one bit, I much prefer the minnows like Iceland.

More Icelands and fewer overpaid superstars make for far better sport, IMO.

Normally I'd be pretty neutral, LL May the best team win, etc but one or two of the overpaid Portuguese superstars have been so spoiled and bratty, I hope Wales wins 5-0.

Though maybe I shouldn't say that, as my support tends to be the kiss of death.....

The big interest in this game will be when Gareth Bale goes up against Christiano Rinaldo, Both play for Real Madrid. I've got my leeks tightly crossed for Wales!!!! LL rofl
