Terrorist attacker named as Adel Kermiche
One of the terrorist attackers has been formally identified as Adel Kermiche, and was known to intelligence services, according to the French anti-terror prosecutor.

Kermiche was arrested in Turkey in 2015 after a foiled attempt to enter Syria for a second time.

He was placed under strict surveillance in Normandy, and wore an electronic tag.

Church attacker wore explosive belt and used human shield
One of the attackers was wearing an explosive belt and carried three knives, a French prosecutor has confirmed, while the other was found carrying a backpack with a fake device.

He said the attackers used three hostages to act as a human shield to block the doors.

The men shouted "Allahu Akbar" (God is great) as they left the church, and were shot dead by police immediately after.

Should have flown him to Syria, maybe dropped him off over Aleppo - with or without a parachute.

Pope Francis has refused to describe Islam as “terrorist”, because it is “not fair and not true”.

Francis was asked by reporters on the papal plane returning to Rome from Poland why he never used the word “Islam” when condemning killings by extremists like that of an elderly priest in France last week.

The Pope said “it's not right to identify Islam with violence”, adding that every religion had its “little group of fundamentalists”.

He said that if he spoke of violent Islam, he would have to speak of violent Catholicism, since Catholics kill too.

Referring to the Islamic State group, Francis, 79, said it “presents itself with its violent identity card, but it's not Islam”.

In an article entitled 'Why We Hate you and Want to Fight You', the 15th edition of the terrorists' periodical Dabiq spells out why the jihads are hell bent on destroying the West

Sounds pretty islamic to me. There is not one thing ISIS do, not one atrocity they carry out, which doesn't have the approval of their moon god and the koran.

The last thing the world needed right now was a moonbat pope.

In a bizarre digression from their latest anti-Christian tirade, the Islamic State addressed the question of black slavery, claiming that if Muslims had been in charge of Western states, the slave trade would have continued.
If Muslims rather than Christians had been running things in countries like the U.S., the Islamic State argues in the most recent issue of its propaganda magazine Dabiq, “the lucrative African slave trade would have continued, supporting a strong economy.”.....etc.
