'Kindest Kid' Harry Moseley Dies, Aged 11
RIP Harry LL
Sky News – 1 hour 35 minutes ago
Harry Moseley, a boy who was voted Britain's Kindest Kid in 2009 for his fundraising for Brain Tumour UK, has died.
His mother, Georgina told Sky News: "Harry sadly passed away in my arms at 23.10 last night. Me and his family are devastated.
"I have lost my baby, best friend and hero very quickly and my life will be very empty moving forward."
Harry, whose charity is backed by the national football team as part of the England Footballers Foundation , met the squad earlier this year.
Following the sad news England captain John Terry said: "His story has broken my heart.
"Harry has done so much for others. All the England lads will continue to support his legacy."
The 11-year-old, from Birmingham, who had an inoperable brain tumour, had been in a coma since August.
He was discharged from hospital earlier in the week after doctors said they were not able to do anything further for him.
Harry was diagnosed with the brain tumour two years ago.
Since then, the charity work he did to raise money for brain cancer research raised hundreds of thousands of pounds.
His charity, Help Harry Help Others , makes bracelets from coloured beads which were sold countrywide.
The Prime Minister has been spotted wearing one and actress Amanda Holden is a supporter.
