It's OK - it's safe to watch the video, it has a happy ending smile

Astro rests on the beach after being pulled from the mud

I must admit that I had some difficulty in even reading the article because I was so afraid.
But I don't want to watch the video because I don't like seeing animals in a state of distress. Just glad that the horse was saved.

The owner was actually more upset than the horse, Sabot, and the horse was given a shot of something to keep him calm when he was being pulled out.

Here he is, safe and sound:

Despite the ordeal, Astro escaped with only bruising

What a story! I bet the horse shows even more devotion to his owner now. She let him know how much she loves him.

Poor woman, she was beside herself till he was pulled out.

Another happy horse story:

The oldest neigh is Essex: Meet Shayne, 51, from Brentwood, the world's most mature nag

Good innings: Shayne still enjoys a gallop outside his stables in Brentwood, Essex, despite clocking up 51 years as one of the world's oldest horses
