The chances of Scotland Yard actually finding Madeleine were always debatable. Too much time gone past, and too many leads ignored. But they might be able to point the search in the right direction, at least to an area, or even a Country.

Suspect abused minors between 2007 and 2011
Man accused of hundreds of crimes of pedophilia
Prosecutors announced Tuesday that indicted a man suspected of practicing hundreds of crimes of sexual abuse of minors and thousands of child pornography crimes.

According to the Attorney General District of Lisbon (PGDL), the 53 year old man is charged with, between 2007 and 2011, have committed acts of a sexual nature, sexual intercourse and masturbation with children aged between three and 14 years.
The accused have filmed these sex having on your computer hundreds of pornographic images involving minors. It is also accused of having transferred these images and movies on a web page, allowing access to third parties.
According to PGDL, the suspect has tapped neighborly relations and trust with minors to commit these crimes.
The man had a vast collection and compilation of thousands of files involving sexual abuse of minors, material that was seized.
The accused is in custody and the dozens of crimes of aggravated sexual abuse of children, was accused for the commission of crimes of hundreds of illegal recordings and photographs and thousands of crimes of aggravated child pornography.
The investigation was led by the second section of the Department of Investigation and Penal Action Lisbon and executed by the Judicial Police.

Man rapes family two years
A man residing in a municipality of Alto Alentejo, was arrested on suspicion of sexual abuse of minors.

The alleged pedophile has committed his crimes earlier this month. Victim, need the Judicial Police (PJ), is a two year old boy, "with which the detainee has kinship relations."

The detainee will be present the first judicial interrogation, for application of coercive measures.
