David Cameron, wife Samantha and three children board 8am flight to Faro
His deputy Nick Clegg is already in Spain with wife Miriam and three sons
Downing Street insists the PM 'is always in charge' even when on holiday
But Mr Clegg said William Hague and Theresa May are 'holding the fort'

I wonder will Luz and her mates be picketing the Cameron holiday accommodation? I am sure her contacts in the PJ will tell her where he is so why not? Carnations should be good at this time of the year I would have thought.

And will Joana Morais come out of the woodwork?

There's definitely something funny going on. Them McCanns are guilty. This proves it. Why else would Cameron go to Portugal?
I expect he's gone to apologise in person to Goncalo Amaral and ask him to keep schtum.
