CMTV (channel 8 on MEO) presents tomorrow, between 21h15 and 22h15, an unpublished programme dedicated to the disappearance of Madeleine McCann: the reconstitution of the evening of the 3rd of May of 2007, the last time the British child was seen alive in Praia da Luz, in Lagos.

The trip to the Ocean Club, the resort where the McCann family was staying, lasts eight minutes, during which viewers will have the opportunity to follow, with rigour, what happened that evening when the little girl, then aged three, disappeared from the room where she was sleeping with her twin siblings.

The reconstitution of the fateful evening of the disappearance involved 10 actors and was carried out at three different locations. It is the result of two weeks of work, with four days and two nights of recording. It involves unpublished images that were taken inside the apartment at the Ocean Club. It's the first time a television will show the scene of the crime that took place in the Algarve.

The 'Maddie Special' also gathers four reports about the most striking moments of the investigation - which recently suffered a new impulse - and a debate with the personalities that followed all the incidents of the case step by step: Gonçalo Amaral, the inspector who was responsible for the investigation; and Rui Pereira, then the minister of Internal Affairs. The conversation will also have the participation of criminal psychologist Maria do Sameiro and Moita Flores, a university professor and former PJ inspector.

It is such a shame that it is being shown on some really small obscure channel that no one can hardly get (Correio da Manha t.v. is from the daily newspaper of the same name!)

Ex-pat forker confirms it's only Cart of Muck telly, with about as much credibility as Icke TV.

so, both amaral or flores have criticized about the interference of politics, but in that program a former politician is invited, and now neither amaral nor flores criticizes about politics involved. when it is in their side, no criticism, but when it is to help solve the case due to the crap amaral did while coordinator, he or flores criticizes, shame on you amaral, shame on you flores.

Flores makes my flesh crawl, frankly, he stinks of PIDE and fascism.

Cart of Muck telly deserves some kind of award for choosing RIGHT NOW to apparently repeat all of Gonzo's lies and smears, and giving Gonzo and fascist Flores a platform to do a bit more lying and smearing.

I hope this is more credible than Amaral's documentary. For example, portraying the McCanns "praying arab" moments with deliberately bad and unrealistic acting. Also why he had Smithman running down the street with the child in his documentary when the Smiths testified that he was walking

Nah, it sounds like the usual load of sh*te from Gonzo, who seems to have got bored with Justice working in silence. Only thing of interest to the grown-ups is how much this rubbish is going to cost Gonzo in court.

Don't be silly! It's a gift! Can anyone think of a stupider act by the defendants in an ongoing libel trial than libelling the plaintiffs all over again?   

Of Gonzo's latest foolishness, a hounder tries to reassure itself:

The pro twitterati are very much rubbing hands with glee at the " stupid " way GA has jeopardised himself re the libel trial.
One problem I have with that is that GA imo is far from stupid and would have checked with his lawyer, before appearing on tv , what he could state as fact and what as opinion , so safeguarding himself.


Sadly for the hater, if it had bothered to read anything besides propaganda, it would know that de Santos told Gonzo to STFU at the last court hearing, when the defence witnesses dropped him in it so spectacularly:

He has been critical of a new British police appeal about the six-and-a-half year-old mystery, branding it a ‘PR campaign of intoxication and misinformation.’

Looks like Gonzo's hit the Self-destruct button and ignored his own lawyer.

PS - as it took a few weeks to film this smearfest, Gonzo knew it was going on when the court was sitting and his own lawyer was telling him to STFU.
