The Scottish police have handled this case with impressive professionalism so far. Also the people who turned out to help in such numbers and in horrible weather.

Heart-breaking, Lily, the police were obviously upset. No doubt they too hoped he was with some misguided relative, or had slipped out the back door on an 'adventure' and would be found hungry but unharmed in someone's shed.

Not the ending anyone with an ounce of decency was praying for.   

Totally agree, Bonny. It is heartbreaking for the police too.

If only Madeleine could have had similar policing, think what might have been accomplished? Scotland is smaller than Portugal so the excuse of poor little Portugal doesn't wash.

At least the lynchmobbers have another diversion now, with the death of Lord McAlpine of *innocent face* fame. Now he's dead, they can exchange disgusting Theories and tittle-tattle from the Icke site to their hearts' content.

IMO, it's pretty obvious that they aren't quite right, Lily - they revel in 'discussing' real or imagined depravity, and always think the worst about other people, in any situation.

The only logical assumption is that they are projecting their own nasty personalities onto total strangers.

What's astounding me is the contempt the assorted hounders, forkers and general haters have for the law. To give Hoho her due, her numties have been told to shut up because of the change in circumstances, but the rest are carrying on with wild allegations and even wilder speculation.

It's just a matter of time before a high-profile case is totally wrecked by these morons.

Head hounder has shown his lack of respect for the law time and time again so his hounders are going to follow his lead.

If it comes to wrecking a high profile case, whilst I hope they don't, do they not think that they themselves could be in seriously deep trouble?

It's very telling that they seem to think they have some Divine right to pitchfork and speculate, and that that is more important than concepts like justice and the law.

Here's a thing - a few of the numties have said that members of their families live in or near the area where Mikaeel's body was found. One of the Icke mods has revealed that it's right on her doorstep (so at least we are being spared garbage about false flags and masons).

The point is - looking ahead, any potential jury pool IS liable to be influenced by sh*te on the internet; this is very close to home. If they have any respect whatsoever for the law and justice - and Mikaeel - they will SHUT UP now. And stay that way.

It is their belief of the right to free speach but only for me, Bonny.

For once in their lives, they've been allowed a voice and they can't stop now. They feel too important.

It made me sick this morning to see so many brainless fools crowing they have been right all along about Mikaeel's mother. So what did they get? A badge? A warm glow inside?

These are the people who champion a disgraced cop of the worst order. Tells us all we need to know.

They are utterly, utterly sickening, carrying on as if it has all been laid on for their entertainment. Disgusting people with no respect for anything - God forbid decency, or the law, should stop their favourite game of armchair defective.

If they had jobs it might help stave off their boredom. The head hounder doesn't appear to have had one for who knows how long....

The worst thing is - those sickos didn't want Mikaeel to be found alive and well. Playing armchair defective was more important to them. Now, I have no doubt the REAL police had their suspicions - but the REAL police would have been overjoyed to be wrong.

The REAL police wanted nothing better than to find the little boy with a misguided relative, or hiding in a neighbour's shed cold and hungry, but otherwise OK, after an 'adventure' that went wrong. The REAL police would have liked nothing better than to announce that they'd found Mikaeel alive and well last night, instead of having to make that heartbreaking announcement.

Do these morons know NOTHING? It's a police/Procurator Fiscal/court matter now and like the newspapers, they should all STFU.

If someone is charged over this, then their lawyer would be entitled to claim a fair trial is impossible because of what is going on on FB, twitter, and several forums.

Regarding the need to be quiet because it has entered into a different phase, I think we are aware that someone will set a precedent at some point. They better hope that they don't get sued collectively for damages.
