The off due to a cold is a huge red flag.
A cold lasts for a couple of days and even then isn't really a reason to keep a child off school especially given the time of year.

She doesn't even know that Scottish schools broke up before Christmas and didn't go back till the 6th.

Even worse, she doesn't even know that Mikaeel is at NURSERY, not school, and NURSERY is not compulsory. There's nothing particularly odd about a three year old staying home from NURSERY with a bad cold, especially at this time of year.

How many times do colds progress to something worse? Especially in really cold weather?

It is indeed a disgrace. And a perfect summary of everything they've been doing to Madeleine McCann and her family for nearly seven years.

Yes it is but they don't want to think about that one.   

Can you imagine the outcry there would be if the police officer in charge in this case was taking boozy three hour lunch breaks and phoning in his instructions from a wine bar in another town? Just sayin'.......

There would be a collective fit over there.

As everyone knows now, Mikaeela's body has been found under suspicious circumstances.

I am sure no-one here needs told not to make up sh*t, speculate, finger-point without proof, or do anything else which interferes with the course of justice.

And if the McCann-haters are determined to use this tragedy to abuse Madeleine's family, they might like to ask themselves how the Scottish police managed to find Mikaeela so quickly, with such professionalism.

Especially considering Scotland is half the size of Portugal, so the 'poor little Portugal' rubbish doesn't really work any more, does it?
