You know what's odd, what with her being a Fearless Investigator and all that bullshit? It doesn't seem to have bothered her that she was apparently interviewing a convicted child sex offender for Icke TV:

A former judge claims secret service agents planted child porn on his computer memory stick in a plot to discredit him.
Michael Shrimpton, an outspoken critic of foreign affairs who advised Chilean dictator General Pinochet, said officers switched the memory stick, which also contained a book he was writing on German intelligence practices.

An appeal against his conviction heard his home in Jusons Glebe, Wendover was searched in April 2012 after he contacted the Ministry of Defence to warn them about an attempt he had uncovered to detonate a dirty nuclear bomb at the Olympics.
However, police instead arrested Mr Shrimpton and found a number of memory sticks which were bagged and labelled by officers.

Only one, which was found in a green glasses case next to Mr Shrimpton’s bed, was found to have contained deleted files, 40 of which were found by police specialists to be indecent images of young boys.
Mr Shrimpton, a barrister and former immigration judge who once advised Pinochet during his fight against extradition from Britain in the nineties, was sentenced to a three year supervision order, a five year Sexual Offences Prevention Order and was told to sign the Sex Offenders Register for possessing indecent images.

However - If she is so upset by nasty remarks posted against herself - then how can she possibly defend the online bile and spite posted against the McCanns ( by Brenda Leyland amongst others ) - which has been going on on a daily basis for years? Why does she think other people should not be incensed in the same way she obviously is?

Apparently she is also outraged by the doorstepping of BL - but sees nothing wrong in doing exactly the same thing herself - only more so.

There is a world of difference between Brunt, who is well known and recognised, and whom Leyland had contacted previously via Twitter and by email, and who was fairly polite.

And a screeching harpy most people are fortunate enough to be oblivious to, issuing demands with her ex-jailbird boyfriend in tow.

Thing is, if she interviewed Shrimpton without knowing about the child abuse images, she's a pretty poor 'investigative journalist' - Brunt would NEVER get caught like that.

I believe that she so badly wants to be someone that she is desperate to do anything to get there.

It's fascinating that not one of them ever bothers to Investigate any of the many, public and professional scandals associated with Amoral. No, they just call him cringe-making pet names like Big Rocky and go.....



NONE of them have the gumption to take a long, hard look at their idol.

Now if she were to do that, she would get somewhere.

She would indeed, Lily - if she took that on, faced the Algarve Mafia down, and revealed the full story of what has been going on there, it would indeed be Pulitzer Prize material. Why not try to find out why every single child abduction case in Portugal (and there have been a good few) has been botched, the worst being Rui Pedro, KNOWN to be alive long after he was abducted. Why not try to get to the bottom of the Jacinta Rees murder?

Now that would be something well worth doing, and something to be proud of.

But this? Yet another attack on Madeleine McCanns' poor parents in the threadbare, shameful guise of 'truthseeking'? IMO, it deserves NOTHING but mockery and contempt. Thankfully, as we've often seen before, it's also a career-ender.

Pat Brown isn't even a Pretendy Profiler anymore. So Soya Poulton won't even be Pretendy Journalist. How sad.

Why, in view of his conviction for possession of child porn, did Poulton interview Shrimpton? Frankly, it shows an appalling lack of judgement - either that, or she was so eager for attention in conspiraloon world, she just didn't care.

She's the type who would sell her soul to the devil.

A real journalist should have checked, Lily. I don't know exactly when Shrimpton was found guilty over the child abuse images, but she should have checked his background and known about the charges. She cannot, IMO, pretend to be a serious journalist while she's treating serious matters as if it's all just a game to get applause from her fan club.

It's like that business of running after people that don't want to speak to her; I doubt if they are 'hiding' anything, they just have better things to do than waste their time on such an amateur - her behaviour is dangerously close to nutter on the bus territory, from what I've seen.

She does seem to over indulge in chasing after people and shrieking accusations at them. It's quite hysterically funny actually, although probably not all that much so for the people to whom she does this. But it definitely ain't very professional.

She's more of a liability than anything else.

She is going to find out the hard way that pitchforking and smearing the parents of missing children is a career-ended. Especially when it's on behalf of convicted perjurers and torturers - as she would know, if she did any REAL research.

There's nothing edgy or keeping it real about supporting dirty cops. Useful Idiots like her just make it easy for them to carry on torturing people in custody, as Tavares de Almeida did, or covering up women being beaten into false confessions, as Amoral did.

Those two are NO different to what the CIA was doing to people in custody, IMO.

But hey, that's what she wants to support, so she can't whine when whatever her career is, goes totally down the toilet. She'll have all that adoration from the haters to keep her warm and pay her bills.

There is something deeply worrying about people like Sonya Poulton. She is either an ignoramus or a hypocrite. Or even worse, she actually supports the abuse of the human rights of others.

Incidentally, why is she so desperate for mainstream attention, when she pretends to despise it so? She didn't despise it when she was getting fat cheques from the Mail for woe-is-me stories.

A lot of people in alternative media-land found out the folly of trusting her; one wonders if the haters, hounders and forkers are also going to find out the hard way?

That is beyond doubt. It is just a matter of "when".
