Seems to have the most coverage. I don't know what the viewing figures were, beyond astounding. Fox showed a photo from Wall Street - some of the staff had stopped working to watch it.

Some pundit pointed out that Romney and his chums tell US voters they're stupid; Trump tells them they're wonderful, and that he loves them all....

So, in the course of the latest high-class Fox debate, his rivals carried on obsessing about the size of Trump's, er, hands.

And religious nutcase Cruz did something totally DISGUSTING. On camera.

Just.....just awful. The whole thing, right down to the stacked audience - the BBC would approve. Fox and the GOP establishment have succeeded in doing something I previously thought impossible.

I saw some of Fox's edited highlights of the debate, Lily - and then I saw the internet version of it. In all my years of watching political 'debates', that was just about the worst I have ever seen. Awful.

And WTF is wrong with Little Marco? It actually isn't normal for happily-married family men to be obsessed with other mens' er, hands. Or to bring the subject up at presidential debates. Cringe-making.

And Cruz should give up NOW, after what he did last night.

For the most part, it really did sound immature and as much as I don't like to say it, that included Trump on a couple of occasions.

Rubio behaved unbelievably silly and after seeing the above on Cruz...well, what can be said?

I do like Kasich who came off the best. It made my headache to be honest.

It wouldn't have been hard to come across as 'best' in that melee, Lily. Kasich probably figured he'd win just by saying as little as possible, and by NOT eating the contents of his nose.

And why is Ms Kelly now channelling The Donald's gravity-defying hair?

Maybe she thinks it looks er......'winning'?

I confess, Lily, I am lost with this US obsession with religion, it just doesn't happen in Europe - except with the likes of Dr Ian Paisley and imams telling their flock to vote Labour.

It's odd, as we are the nation with a monarch as Head of State, who is also the head of the church in England and Wales.
