France's hosting of the 2016 Euros has been mired with scenes of violence for the past four days, and today was no exception as German and Ukraine supporters clashed in the streets of Lille. At least two people are reported to have been injured in the riots.

Sports Illustrated is reporting that bottles, chairs, and smoke bombs were thrown as German fans clashed with Ukranian fans in plazas and streets before the match, set to kick off at 3pm EST. Sports Bild additionally is claiming that fans chanted right wing slogans and even attacked a reporter.

Lebedev, who sits on the executive committee of the Russian football union, is an MP from the nationalist Liberal Democratic party and the deputy chairman of the Russian parliament.

Tensions are high on the streets of Lille, where police have already fired tear gas and followed chanting England and Wales fans amid reports of scuffles and a "huge bang".

Police equipped with helmets and body armour have been hitting supporters with batons, while pepper spray has also been used against fans who police say are behaving in a "threatening" manner.

According to Sky Correspondent Siobhan Robbins, who is at the scene, there appears to be trouble in several areas.

It is unclear what sparked the confrontation, but French officers are clearing the streets and local media say police helicopters are circling overhead.

Associated Press reports a group of about 200 English fans had been singing songs about Russia before a loud explosion was heard, and bottles thrown.

Ex-England footballer Stan Collymore said: "Somebody threw a, not a grenade, something that went bang towards some England fans and the England fans have just run."

The gas and pepper spray appears to have been used when fans ran away from the bang and towards police lines.

Collymore also posted footage which appeared to show a man smashing wing mirrors off parked cars.

According to AFP, paramedics seemed to be carrying out cardiac massage on a fan lying on the ground, but their nationality was not clear.

An alcohol ban has been in place in an attempt to prevent a repeat of the violent scenes in Marseille, with bars closed and shops stopped from selling booze, but some fans in Lille appeared to be drinking nonetheless.

The unrest came as Russian fans set off a flare after a goal at their Euro 2016 game against Slovakia.

The flame was visible from the stands as Russian supporters celebrated a goal by Denis Glushakov in the 80th minute, but their team went on to lose 2-1....etc.

The Ultras will be out for blood after losing.
