He is one of the most influential MPs in the House of Commons and is currently overseeing the biggest shake-up of Britain’s prostitution laws in a generation.

But today the Sunday Mirror can reveal Keith Vaz, a married father of two , is leading a double life paying young male escorts for sex.

Mr Vaz last met two Eastern European prostitutes eight days ago, even though he is chair of a powerful parliamentary group probing vice and drugs.

And as the talk ranged from sex to pets, Mr Vaz eventually said: “We need to get this party started.”

He also spoke about having had unprotected sex.

And ahead of the meeting he had sent a series of texts in which he jokingly called himself one of the men’s “pimp” and “bank manager”.

Mr Vaz paid the escorts in cash.

Money was also paid into a bank account used by one of them by a man linked to a charity set up by the MP.

Personally, I am not one bit surprised, there always was something unsavoury about Vaz, and his fondness for publicity, money, etc.

The only thing that surprises me is that he's finally been outed, Lily. I would suspect that man of ANYTHING.

There isn't a cause he won't latch onto, a tragedy he won't exploit, and he's got away with it for a very long time. He may have thought he was fireproof, like so many of them.

I shudder to think what else he's been involved in, if there is a lot more to come out.....

If you walked past the fountain in Town Hall Square today, you might have been in for a surprise.

The water in the elegant Leicester landmark has become foamy - and will now have to be fixed at the expense of Leicester City Council.

The fountain was filled with detergent by an unknown person earlier today.

A council spokesman said: "Somebody has emptied detergent into the fountain.

"We will be adding a solution to the water to get rid of the foam if required."


Just a guess, but it might have something to do with their unsavoury MP pretending to be a washing machine salesman during his, er, encounters, with Romanian rent boys.
