Gonzo's appeal

Whoever wrote it seemed to have had a taste of a magic mushroom or something.......

I am told there is an explanation for this. It actually has nothing to do with Amaral's current wife.

The deceased woman is his FIRST wife, the lady he divorced in order to marry Sofia L. Those responsible for starting this story didn't even know that their idol had a first wife, which doesn't say a great deal for their research.

Oh, that definitely reminds me of Bennett then.

How people can claim to be Case Experts, and not know that those supposedly devout Catholics Gonzo and Sofa are both on their second marriages, I do not know. One of these days, IMO, this whole story is going to be spread all over the tabloids, and it won't make pretty reading for those who don't know about Amaral and his antics.

His first wife is at peace now, poor lady.

Kate and Gerry McCann already face a huge legal bill after a failed attempt to sue its author Goncalo Amaral.

Maddie vanished during a 2007 family holiday in Portugal, aged three.

Former police officer Mr Amaral hopes to have his account of the case published abroad following his court win in his native Portugal.

His book accuses the McCanns of covering up their daughter’s death, an allegation they have strongly denied.

The McCanns’ lawyers have warned they will take action against anyone who tries to release it in the UK.

Spokesman Clarence Mitchell said: “If it does appear, whoever is responsible will be sued.”

If that liefest is published in the UK, Gonzo will have his ass sued. And so will the printer and publisher.

Never mind lawyers, it would take five minutes for any one of us to demonstrate that he's a liar and fantasist, and that his gibbers bear NO relation to reality - the crap he made up about the FLOs alone is proof positive. That's before we even start on his lies and stupidity over the forensics.

Frankly, I don't see anyone in the English-speaking market touching Gonzo's sh*te with a ten-foot bargepole.

Incidentally, I suppose the hate squad, currently cheering on this lunacy, do realise that it would be a green light for the UK media - and lawyers - to start revealing some rather unsavoury inconvenient truths about Gonzo? Particularly his private life, which they've held off on till now?

And if they imagine he would get any further publishing in the US - they might like to check on the Gawker case, and a few others.

Outright lies about people are NOT acceptable in the US. Portugal alone seems to think falsehoods and invented smears are acceptable.

The McCanns would make a fortune if Gonzo actually was able to publish his libelous "book" here.

Gonzo would be absolutely destroyed in a British court, Lily, where he would be asked difficult questions, and his burblings about his 'honour' and Free Speach would count for nothing. All those documents and records concerning his past antics, like defrauding his own brother and a good few other things, would finally enter the public domain.

The Sun would have a field day with his private life......

Actually, I suspect he wouldn't even be allowed into the country, he would be treated like a hate preacher, as his only motive for coming here would be to sh*t-stir and abuse the McCann family.

Contracting a hitman to kill your husband is “not a crime”, says court

Following on from the ruling that ‘grabbing your wife by the neck does not constitute domestic violence” (click here) , Portuguese judges appear to have gone a step further. A court in S. João Novo has ruled that although 38-year-old Fernanda Salomé was filmed hiring a hitman to kill her ex-husband, she cannot be found guilty of having committed a crime.

Judges have conceded, nonetheless, that this is a sentence that “common citizens” will find “hard to understand”.

Correio da Manhã explains that the decision rests on the fact that despite Salomé’s patent desire to kill her husband, the men she went on to hire “never meant to carry the job through”.

The victim was “never in any harm”, and Salomé did not go into any details for his death: she did not set a place, or time. “Everything was dependant on the will of the contracted (men)”.

One of these was Alfredo Damas, who has also been ‘absolved’ of wrongdoing, but ordered with Salomé to pay €10,000 in compensation to the husband who became “tormented”, the court heard, after hearing his ex-wife’s plans.

The court heard that Salomé’s ‘hit’ at one point also involved her ex’s mother and current girlfriend.

CM said that throughout the trial, Fernanda Salomé denied that her desires to kill her husband had to do with his million euro fortune. She insisted that the €175,000 ‘hit’ was simply ordered because she wanted him dead.

Seeing his client freed has left defence lawyer Luísa Macanjo “satisfied”, but it is causing ructions within the Public Ministry.

CM says the PM may well put in an appeal, as could the victim - himself a lawyer.

As to the judges’ ruling being “compreehensible”, penal law expert André Ventura has told the paper that it most certainly is not.....more insanity at link.


It's a bad joke. The Gonzo-worshippers would do well to remember that, thankfully, the rule of 'Portuguese justice' ends at the borders of Portugal, and the rest of us aren't governed by these endless perverse court rulings.

I told ya. This is not going to end well for Gonzo. The McCanns are now on the up.
