Nothing small about those mistakes. Which one of the two made them? Not that it matters all that much. Browns Case is now stone cold dead, if she ever had a Case.

I think all forkers must suffer from some hitherto-unknown mental health issue, Sabot.

They cannot process information accurately, which leads them to make endless foul-ups and misjudgements.

And then, when caught, their first instinct is to try to lie their way out of it, but only succeed in getting into an even bigger mess than they were in to begin with.

I do hope that CR immediately contact the head of the law firm to advise them what one of their *cough* lawyers is doing. I think that if the shoe was on the other foot, CR would expect something similar?

In any event, this is not going to go down at all well with the senior partner at Stafford Frey Cooper. In fact, Brown may not have bargained for what will surely follow?

Apart from that appalling, drunken incident, I thought Anne Bremner was a half decent Lawyer, but if she wrote that Letter then she would be better served learning how to speak English. And if all she can do is fight for Freedom of Speach for those who are equally challenged in this department then she is rather wasting her time. I don't need anyone to fight for my rights.

And after all else where Pat Brown is concerned, she is just fighting for the right to Libel People. She won't get it in Britain.

Agree, Lily. She could have allowed Brown to write it in her name, possibly because Brown is supposed to know what has gone on. But this is a very dangerous game, especially for a Lawyer. Sheesh, I wouldn't put my name to anything I hadn't at least read and checked on.
And it isn't even a Cease and Desist Letter, more a rambling and garbled request containing way too much information, half of which isn't even true. Carter Ruck will make minced meat of it, if they can be bothered.

The jury is still out on that one HB. I am inclined to think she did - it is couched in very cautious terms, which is most unlike Ms Brown.
